@hilk,
As mentioned by the other forummers, the US units aren't officially unlocked units hence you might want to reconsider the purchase.

@hsienhsien,
If it's via Maxis, U should have received a Maxis Service Card together with the iPhone |

@hsienhsien,
You should b able to get the warranty off the Apple website but that's probably not accurate cause without the Maxis Service Card you're not going to be able to get it replaced should something happen to the unit [well, at least if you're not the one who signed up for the iPhone originally] |

@shiniraz,
This forum is not the best place to ask such a question; your best bet is to call Maxis and check with them re availability of iPhones. Apparently there's still a waiting period. |

@Cloud77,
This hairline crack is pretty common esp amongst the White models. For the Black sets, best to check. |

@doggiewolf,
If the phones are from UK it should remain locked as there aren't any officially unlocked iPhones coming from that region. IMHO, if U haf to spend RM2150 for the iPhone, I suggest U get an officially unlocked version [even if that means paying a lil bit more!] |

@doggiewolf,
Then my advise is not to get one, and just wait till U have sufficient ca$h for an officially unlocked model. @zaxwin, Australia models are officially unlocked so U should haf no problems with it. @calvin,
HK units have been reported previously as officially unlocked units. As to =Hanxz= question on detailed process and total unit purchasable at a go, I don't know |

I don't believe Apple will sell rejects; those could be the China duplicates; don't get it ! |

@vexus,
And how long will the phone last before u need a new replacement? I personally wouldn't encourage anyone to get it but if you want to get one, go ahead |

@alpham84,
So the price for a 16GB at LYN is RM2700? You've oredi weighed the consequences so go ahead and get whichever unit you think is most suitable. Also, my advice is to go with an officially unlocked set because that will definitely safe you a lot of hassle. PS: If U want, I've a brand new 16GB unit available for sale; match the LYP price and it's urs *smiles* |

@alpham84,
Your friend will still need to sign on a plan under his current post paid number to qualify to make a purchase. SG & MY models are officially unlocked so it's okie to get either one; but US models are definitely locked so my advice is to go with either SG/MY/HK sets. |

@staggerler,
DiGi hasn't announced any pricing. Stay tuned to their website or look out on it here; someone will definitely be talking about it here @g3n0c|d3 , You're absolutely right! @mycacha, Maybe the other forummer's referring to the i3G and not i3GS? Or a 2nd hand one? |

@aztechx,
The RM200 "anniversary" discount should be independent of any other promotions/plans but it's best you check it out with Maxis. @fuadfadz, No, iPhone BT is meant for uhm..... ear piece only |

@carlitofreak,
Yup.. the MicroSIM's gonna be launched but when is it coming? I don't think the actual MicroSIM's available as yet but this only means that Maxis is embracing for the 4th Generation iPhone + 3G iPad... How nice |
