haha it depends. but i just feel qeird if guys dun mind gf taller than them. mayb u should tell himhonestly ur feelings. guys sometimes is quite stubborn if u dun tell them straight forward.

High heels can really make shorter girls look more attractive bringing them up to eye level~

Did u ask him why he wants u to wear high heels? Maybe he finds u attractive in high heels? Mine does, but Im really a sneakers kinda person. BUT, weneva we go on dates, i try my best to accommodate his likes - eg wearing heels for him. When I wear heels its very obvious that im taller than my bf (im already 1 inch taller than him in bare feet) but he's the kinda guy who doesnt mind the height difference. I mean, how often do u get to go on dates? (In my case once a week cuz we're both fulltime students) .... So..

OR, if u date very often, u can explain to ur bf ur discomfort of wearing heels... Tell him u will wear them every two dates, he shudnt mind to "compromise" abit? ^^

erm... don't see the significant point of high heels or no heels. Well, high heels may make a girl appears more attractive but to request gf to wear it is a little bit too ... demanding. I mean, it's just shoes. summore, wearing high heels is painful and inconvenient. In fact, high-heel shoes are n0t good for us (in long term) although it may burn more calories. Anyway, perhaps, u may wear not-so-high-heels say 1 inch ? moderation is the best. give and take between lovers. hehe.

i think maybe ur bf think that girls in heels are more sexy and of course more attractive.
my bf always tell me he likes girls in those heels with lots of strips..

High heels forces you to walk with your chest out (which pushes the breast out) which enhances the curve on your bust line and waist and therefore look sexier.

If i'm not mistaken there are high heel crocs, not very fashionable but I presume it's more comfortable, why don't you give it a try?

Frankly saying, i dun rly enjoy seeing her wearin heels. I alwiz afraid she might fall down, twisted her ankle, muscle pain, or break the heels which cost her lots of money.. or tht heels is one of her fav. In other words i juz dun wan her to upset.

Anyhow, i do agree heels are needed during important function where certain dress code needed. But if you sayin juz for normal dating, heels is not needed.

i think there 3 reasons why girls will wear high heals

1-Its during office hour so that she'll more presentable and corporate like
2-That she's short and wants to look taller
3-That they have small or flat buttocks that by using high heals, it'll bring out the "buttocks" in them.

start with a lower inch heels / wedges

then only proceed to 2.5 inch and then 3 then 4 =)

just wear heels that are not too high.. Kitten heels, we call it. about 1 inch or 1.5 inch only... Very casual looking. i think once you get used to it, it will be ok. Later when you are working in the corproate world, you need to wear them sooner or later.

Heels haf pros and cons...
it will help a womans posture, cos women wearing heels tend to walk carefully avoiding tripping which leads to falling down which leads to shame and women can't stand that...lol
it will also help shape up the legs (calves area especially)...so able to show off nice shape...nice skirt with nice calves with nice stilletos...3 hit combo...make buaya eyes pop out...lol
about the pregnancy issue, yes that is also a problem...bcos of the stress in the inner thigh...balancing on heels...
choose heels carefully for the right occasion...dun ever go for platform heels...u'll look like a clown(no offence to anyone who owns any)...

The answer is YES. Girls in high heels and black stocking is a major turn on and any woman who wears it properly will exude an air of confidence that can knock down a guy.

I usually try to not respond to this sort of threads, but this one just made me sad.

What is wrong with those of you (mostly girls, according to your tags!), who suggested that she should give in or compromise???

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not an anti-heels, bra-burning mega-feminist. I personally would never wear heels for long outings. However, I know many women who do wear heels often, of their own accord, and I think there is nothing wrong with it. Note the key word here: of THEIR OWN ACCORD. They themselves believe that wearing heels makes them sexier, and they feel more confident... and therefore they wear them because they themselves feel that the benefits are a worthy trade-off for the discomfort of wearing them.

But the OP evidently does not enjoy wearing them. Why then should she, merely for the viewing (and sexual) pleasure of her bf? Yes, sexual pleasure... it's quite evident that the guy has a heels fetish. How could a guy who truly cares for a girl, keep trying to pressure and 'encourage' her to endure hours of discomfort that she DOES NOT WANT, simply because he likes the sight of it?

The issue here is no longer about whether wearing heels makes your buttocks stand out, or whether it's bad for your spine (both true, btw)... but about the fact that the woman should have the right to dress in whatever SHE feels good in.

I so agree with this one. Guys dont seem to understand that we girls are just like guys too, we like to be comfortable and sometimes comfort overrules "beauty" or fashion.

However, COMPROMISE, GIVE and TAKE in a relationship is quite important too. LEts say if the bf wants me to wear heels for a 2-3 hour dinner date. Fine. Then he must do sth that he doesn't like but i want him too. If he can't, hahaha. Sorry im in sneakers thanks If there's a trend for guys do wear something riduculous and it really makes a girl happy, you can bet that the guy will NOT be follwing the trend, but istd insist that the gf accepts him as he is, minus ridiculous looking fashion style.

If he gets all upset abt it, take it or leave it. Here i agree, WoMEN shd dress in wtv they want. After all, its THEIR BODY!

i think my bf like me to wear high heel, and i love to wear high heel too, because i feel very confidence no matter where and when. for girls that not use to wear high heel, is pretty tired because is not easy to wear high heel for many hours...

High heel is not for every girl. High heel for porky feet is ugly. Those have the privilege of pair of fine feet to wear one must be proud of it. I personally like girl with high heel, at least 3.5"-4.0".

Hmm.. the guy I like were taller than me. when I use high heels, he's still taller than me...
Although me being 5'4 is tall enough (He's like 6'5) but still he's making me feeling very short most of the time. Siiiiiiiiiigh~~~

maybe u should try medium-high heels before trying high heels, when u get used to them, then try higher..this is my suggestion if u wan to accommodate ur bf

if u really feel uncomfortable even for medium high heels, i guess u should tell ur bf about ur true feeling, most of the boys would not like their gfs to get hurt with themselves anyway

i'm 165cm and my hubby is 180cm.. i always wear slipper when i go out with him.. hehe.. so u could imagine lah.. i do wear heels once awhile.. i love heels actually BUT there's no where for me to go and wear it.. i can't wear 5 inch to go shopping for 4 - 5 hours.. i can't wear it to go to mamak.. hence my crocs are my best friend.. my hubby did say he likes me wearing heels coz it bring out the 'S' shape.. hehe..
