using bad driver or wrong driver does that also some buggy software I only get blue screen when I change RAM Timing

hi i got 1 question here. why i my vista keep showing BSOD after i install alcohol 120%? izzit not compatible? what other software that i can use other than alcohol 120% ? first time using vista. thanks

Btw, make sure that your Alcohol is installed in "Administrator Mode" and is latest version.

try and reformat ur hdd by low-level format. dun use the windows format. then install a new fresh copy of windows. did ur hdd poses any error?

Lol not my ram prob... just buy a new ram and replace it.. the same thing happen.. now i'm running on 4gb '2x 2GB' starting to think it is the OS prob...

i have the BSOD also,it come out randomly....but i know what problem its with my BSOD...its becoz my sound card is not supported by Vista Ultimate.....i using Sound Blaster 5.1 and vista cannot reconise the driver...thats why come out BSOD....i juz have to change the sound card that is supported by Vista Ultimate then it will be fine,but i lazy change so i am used to it already....u can try checking ur drivers installed in ur pc.....maybe some of the drivers is not supported by the Vista ultimate....
