my method is having 2 controllers... 1 will hv the play n charge kit.. n the other using normal Enegizer batteries...

when charging use the controller with normal batt while the other is charging... it is good for the battery lifespan instead of using it while playing...

I don't think I've seen the battery indicator showing 4 bars. Ever. It is always 3 bars.

Can't quite find Imedion / Enelop though. Been using GP Recyko ever since.

I recommended sanyo enelope, preferable with original charger for optimal and faster charging

I'm not sure what the effects would be on the eneloop batteries, but so far I have been using a different brand charger (Uniross) for my AA eneloops. The batteries are fine.

In fact I find that the batteries last longer when I charge them on the Uniross standard charger (7-8 hrs) compare to using Sanyo's quick charger (3-4 hrs).

ive been using eneloop

empty completely charge up takes like 2 hours +

lasts probably 2-3 weeks routine play at night

first few days, can see 4 bars

then eventually its on 3 bars for a very long time

then 1-2 is when its low, can use but just lower vibration feel

As far as low self discharge rechargeable AA batts are concerned, Anselmann makes the highest capacity.

Their MaxE+ variant claims 2500mAh capacity, beats the panties off Sanyo Eneloop and Maha Imedion.

Around RM35 a pair.

Eneloop is pricey for a 2000mAh batt, but it cycles capacitors really fast... so it's useful for photographers. Gamers get a better bang for their buck with other brands.

use play and charge kit la... if the battery died, u can still use the controller with the cable connected. Ori battery is not v.durable and rechargable AA can cause connection issues if the numbers of plug and remove rates increased.
