There's no difference in quality, they're essentially the same disc but with different licensing.

eg for DVD reader/burner

i have 1 ORI and 1 OEM

ORI has no problems reading at all

OEM every once in a while got hiccup, put in disc, it wont spin, have to eject, and put in again

and my OEM confirm not spoilt, checked edi

same thing to my brother's Acer Aspire desktop... the oem DVD reader/burner sumtimes stop functioning. obvious case when an installation of game from DVD takes to long, the installation just hang. biggrin.gif so he buy a normal retail version.problem solved.hehe..

Actually, you and I are both wrong. sweat.gif OEM refers to a large range of items from hardware to software although software commonly related with OEM.
