depends. use thunder for china hosted torrent. utorrent better for international torrent i think. I can normally max out to 170k/sec for chinese torrent on thunder. But for internationally hosted torrent, uttorent do the job for me.

Anyone noticed... that some IP addresses r banned by trackers or even the peer's isp? I had to cycle through a few until i got my speed back... n its not a special ip since i usually get 60.xxxxxxxxx n 124.xxxxxxxxxxx so if u guys r experiences lousy speeds but great ddl speeds that could be the case of abuse by our fellow morons.

A couple months back, i decided to give this a try and followed the settings as guided in a youtube video posted by a member here.
The settings worked very well and I could get maximum speeds for my line.
I would like to give credit to this fellow member, I have tried to search for the youtube but to no avail.
May I know who is the hero?

Thanks!

Not IPs, but have some of it.

Mostly tracker ban type of torrent downloader and some version.

I actually tried the settings in the guide.
But speeds did not improve, in fact it went worse (not to discredit your guide tho).

I was too lazy to set back everything 1-by-1 to default, so I just reinstalled and speeds were back up to almost max.

But good for others who're seeing improvements. Kudos~

I actually started to torrent because of utorrent. it's the best yet.
High speed almost all the time regardless of the numbers of seeders.

tALEz, ah that would be the overloading of ur modem/router.

Taken today. But of course u need a large hdd to do what I am doing not to mention a router that can stand it.
