I think your VPN is slowing you down.

Fully agree ! We use VPN to bypass throttling. But if uTorrent 2.0 can bypass throttling, then why bother to waste money paying to those VPN provider ? They are limiting your 4mb line.

I have a couple of questions here:

1. At the moment, I m using ver 1.8.5. Can I modify transp.disposition setting on this version? (default is 13)

2. If I use ver 2.0 with UTP support, will it crash my modem? I m currently using Riger DB-108 Wireless. I m asking this because I noticed that if I use uTorrent (1.8.5), it will definitely make my router modem.

3. Currently, in order to avoid my modem crashing, I used VPN. So with VPN+Riger DB-108 Wirelss+uTorrent 1.8.5+Streamyx 384, I m getting an average of 38-39 KB/s speed. So if I use ver 2.0, can I expect to get speed above 40?

i am using 2.1beta build 17687, after the value set to 10 and restart. the torrent can't even connect , what's going on?

*after surfing utorrent forum, some forumer said set the halfopen from 8 to 4, now the torrent run.
But still not as fast as value 15?

Only utorrent 2.0 can do this?

Either TmNet forgotten to throttle me or this uTorrent 2.0 is a godsend torrent client. Look at my speed 4MB line.

I will cancel all my VPN and WebGui subscription.

Is your protocol encryption enabled/disabled/forced? ticked allow incoming legacy connection?

utorrent is a joke la.

My upload speed around 0.5kb/s but download speed around 100kb/s availability around 7.

I think in order to achieve high speed, must connected to the proper flags like D HXP.

i think it all depends on luck
if u happen to connect to one of the peer or seed that has fast upload speed(they use cable ?) then you can get those high speed
if not.. you speed wil still slow
imagine a stremayx user upload at speed of 25kBps to 3 peers ..then the speed receive by each peer is only 25/7 = about 4kBps ...
