TM shaping due to detection of tcp n dht.

Added on March 16, 2010, 11:09 amThey will shape some ppl regardless if they r heavy users or not. This is allow others to get full speed on their packages. I presume they have a rotation of users to shape for better "quality of service".

I think most importantly is your utorrent connected to the right flags. For example, is mine connected to D HXP i can reach top speed. Anyone can clarify this? In fact, this is what I noticed/achieved.

ok guys im so screwed... plz help me =\

this is the what happen...

when i first install the utorrent, i can download perfectly well, the light/status is green but the peers is pretty low, prolly around less than 50 peers for all downloads (no more than 5 downloads in total) and the speed is reasonable fine in between the range of 100kb - 170kb more or less

despite that i decide to install the patch from
http://www.lvllord.de/?lang=en&url=downloads
and then shit happen sad.gif

i restart the pc, open the utorrent as usual... but the status is now yellow... the download is still working, the speed is picking up slowly (prolly connecting to other peers) ... after awhile the status change to green... few minutes gone by the connection dies!! internet die, torrent die, speed from 150kb drop 0... it just die...
and then i restart the pc/modem, the internet is fine

so what happen is that if i use the utorrent and awhile later the connection will die -.-

any way to reverse or fix this... plz help me!! cry.gif

if i am not mistaken Lvl Lords used to be a patch to open connection in Windows Xp. Since by default the open connection is limited to 10 only.

Half ports? OMG there is a reason why utorrent needs only 8 half open ports cause any more gives no real benefit. I even set it back (after doing the video guide) since it gives no real lasting speed boost.

Go to utorrent advance n see if net.max_halfopen is 8. If it is higher set it back to 8.
