but up until then all the final fantasy's did not have direct links with one another either wor. none were sequals, and all took place in different worlds iirc. They only shared certain elements like summons, mog/moggles and later chocobos. it is hard to have chocobos or moogles in a 'serious' sci fi movey, no?
ditch the final fantasy expectation and you will discover that the spirits within was quite well written and rather easy on the eyes as well.

i read it somewhere....

i hated it when they port a game but still tweak it a bit during the porting and dare to say that the "original" game is in there ie. when capcom release deadly silence and very clearly re-recorded some of the voices, added a second screen, change some FMVs and still had the cheek to put on the box art that the "original game" is in there.

chrono trigger seems to have done things right before what i read on IGN, there is a setting to enable and disable all the additions from the PSOne port and this new port..... dunno if there's a function to disable the second screen?
if there is, then that is truly a perfect port.

yup, you can turn off the bottom screen completely to enjoy classic one screen battle

meaning FFXII is actually not worth the perfect score? FFXII.... the first FF without sakaguchi, i heard the director for FFXII is the same guy who directed Vagrant Story.... the only two perfect famitsu score game for SE, they should just give him a big fat bonus!

no way, retro studio has dy disbanded and gone to work for microsoft, no way should nintendo continue to promote the metroid prime games....

I'm still looking for Vagrant Story.. madmoz only has PAL version

FF12 is Balthier's FF? He was cool and saved what was to me a terrible game wor.
Then again, ever since the FF with Zidane, me no like wor.

Shemue was ok in my books, a bit rough and unfinished though, and kinda boring in places.
