but up until then all the final fantasy's did not have direct links with one another either wor. none were sequals, and all took place in different worlds iirc. They only shared certain elements like summons, mog/moggles and later chocobos. it is hard to have chocobos or moogles in a 'serious' sci fi movey, no?
ditch the final fantasy expectation and you will discover that the spirits within was quite well written and rather easy on the eyes as well.

FF12 is Balthier's FF? He was cool and saved what was to me a terrible game wor.

nope. cannot understand japanese, was hoping so much for it to come out though. A lot of very good games towards the tail end of Saturn's life never got translated, like the two later shining force games.

Front Mission on the other hand i like. Very much. Much better than armored core.

ff8 innovative? bleh.
ff8 characters to me are wafer thin wor compared to the previous guys. Things got better with 9, and then went downhill again methinks.
nowadays it feels like an interactive movie more than a game wor.

i find gravure movies dumb wor. i don;t know, but watching a girl walk around acting cute while some soothing music and beach sounds play in the background just doesn't do it for me wor. My housemate used to like it a lot and 10/10 times i'd end up asking when are we gonna see pixels!

but then your enemies are at level 100 too, and i find it easier to play at lower levels wor.
