Regular maintenance Rule Of Thumb (correct me if i'm wrong)

Every 5k mileage
1. engine oil change
2. oil filter change
3. check and clean air filter

Every 20k mileage
1. engine oil change
2. oil filter change
3. fuel filter change
4. spark plug change
5. air filter change
6. transmission fluid change
7. radiator coolant change
8. CO tuning

the rest u can check like clutch free play, steering free play, etc if u feel the need to do so.

also important is the need to check the level/quality of the brake fluid in the reservoir. regularly bleed (i do it every 50k) and replace the brake fluid. power steering fluid also need to be taken care of.

sifoo singchaii      should be able to advise further as this is his daily job.

agree, if the car have legs. in this case, it's perfectly bolted. Unless of course, we are talking about the use of spacers, which is still bothering me and many other users- then it's equal to small sized feet wearing big sized shoe.
but traction comes from moving car, so we cant calculate a stationary vehicle weight alone. I totally agree about the need to fine tune any modification, so basically we cant just upgrade once and then say it's not good. It's a trial and error process; the whole vehicle setup, the driver's skill and driving style. 

We can take the moral from my recent upgrade-and-downgrade of the front brake. I will not conclude that it was a bad upgrade, but it doesnt suit my driving style. Bear in mind that the original reason i upgraded was to avoid the use of spacers, not to add brake force. 

Of course, larger surface will have higher chance of aquaplaning, but take note that I once aquaplaned my mom's satria running on wobbly stock 13" tires in front of the 'late' mint hotel. I was only doing 70 and it was during a drizzle. The satria end up doing 720 (yup 720 not 180 or 360) degree spin and whack about 20m long steel divider. Total loss and I still have a scar at my right hand as a memory. 

Just my seringgit dua puloh sen though... 

dont forget suspension setup as well. u cant solely blame the rims/tires for not giving u enough traction. Suspension setup is actually pushing the tire down instead of pushing the car up. As for rims, that's where the correct weight, offset, jj and tire size come into play.

its not about time.... with smaller surface, it can cut through the water easier compare to wide surface....


for saga iswara oem front disc brake, it is compulsory to install spacer in front due to the protruding bolt on ur hub...


well... cannot 100% agree dat stock is the best.... car manufacturers build the car with many consideration in mind... ride comfort, performance, emission, cost, etc... u cant have best of all worlds... so, its up to u to choose which to sacrifice for another one to be better....

same case as mine.... the effect would be tyre wobble... jack ur car up (front) and try to shake dat particular side wheel left and right.... it will wobble abit.... when cruising at high speed, u can feel ur car unintentionally sway left and right...
if ur idling is rough, its because of ur highcams...
and if u got skim ur flywheel, this make matters worse....

so, why not jz live with it... low rumble makes u constantly orgasm....

satay kajang absolutely no, banyak kete. same goes to tesco ampang. McD wont have big carpark. Putrajaya will be nice, but I'm not familiar of any mamak stall we can hang out at.

Cyberjaya is quite deserted, and I know a new place with a new mamak shop which will definitely have ample parking space.

By the way, I prefer TT during the day, but up to u guys. Anyway, this 18th until new year i wont be in town. So anything see u guys next year!

gear box 1.5 how much for our car?

yeap.... older saga iswara 1.3 and 1.5 uses the same gearbox...

but newer lmst uses different gearbox... the first gear and last gear ratio is different... datz why singchaii car can reach higher top speed den mine...

Izzit advisable 4 me 2 trade in my old skol 1.3 Saga 2 another sekenhen old skol 1.5???    Cuz my car now got a very big problem wit da ownership name.... Its still under my late grandfather name since 3 years ago... n now got problem wit road tax renewal   I really luv those old model type... cuz u noe... simple n basic n steel bumpers...  

N another reason is I put in nearly 5k in dat car edi... N my dad stupidly said wanna send 2 da chop shop if 2 much hassle   If I get da same model but 1.5 can transplant all da new parts 4rom da 1.3 to da 1.5 model rite??? e.g like UR bars, brakes, rims, suspension, clutch kit n many more...

yes...u r true. my car aircond fan is sanden. very small balde only.
now i change bigger balde.fit it nicely too. 

just wan to ask,short shift izzit very *hard* to change gear?
i just change mine....y not so smooth like original?lembik and switch to gear 1 and 2 so easy.but short shift so keras.
izzti the shifter bearing and the spring need change? or just put some grease on it??? advice pls

suggest u to get pivot blue colour 1

i using T10 high flux LED... last time buy 2 biji for rm25... total u need 4 biji for the background light... other bulbs like fuel warning, signal and so on are separate bulbs... they are much smaller...

no need jealous geh... got buy 4 biji pasang can adi lor....
rm1.5k is jz the parts... include installation will cost u rm2k plus.... so, better prepare rm2.5k....

yes advisable... and recommended.... saga/iswara/lmst/lmss all belongs to the same family... and if ur dad agrees to let u upgrade to 1.5L why not??... its an upgrade in fact... all other items u plug into ur car can be brought forward to ur new (old) 1.5L saga.... as i said, chassis is the same....
my one stock standard only...

short shifter... once u get used to it vr easy only... if feels hard, lube the moving parts with more grease lor... but it wouldnt help much... hahaha... sooner or later u will get used to it and know which direction or force needed to engage which gear... once it got it, vr nice.... macam pandu racing car everyday...

datz why i said its a syokshifter rather than shortshifter....
