Dunno... But imagine during da xchange, I angkt my 15' sport rim also feel da same weight wit my ori 13' rim wit tyre summore... surely dats very heavy... Plus da vr4 brakes 1 side edi dem heavy... until my lower arm bush patah both side... (due 2 aged item) .... Wit all those wieght increase, b4 xchange... maxed out 140km/h... now only 120-125km/h. So I guess it does not effect da car performance dat much... Accel can't tell, bcuz I feel da same only... It depends on ur rims also.... if install alloy type, very light lor... I maybe wrong

Guy, i wan to give you guy some info.. What mean proton edar genuine parts.. Proton edar geniune parts mean the parts is Original Local Made (Original part buatan malaysia). We called it OEM.. If we compare it with MMC parts, MMC part is much more expensive and long lasting.. If you guy got extra $$, you try replace your engine mounting into MMC engine mounting. You can feel the different.

And now, proton wanna partnership back with mitsubishi. Last time proton don't want mitsubishi because the loyalty is so high.. Hopefully proton will able get mivec engine from mitsubishi..

Ya.. I remember about mechanical turbo for carburetor.. Mean, set into a rpm which you want the turbo to activate.

thing you need,
1. Turbo kit.
2. Fuel Pump.
3. Bigger fuel line.
4. Door sensor. (Most of the continental car have it. When you rev on certain rpm, the door will lock by it self. Use this sensor to control at which rpm the turbo activate).

This is what we need.. The extra fuel pump need to be install to avoid fuel supply not enough when the turbo activate. The bigger fuel line is for the fuel flow is always enough to the manifold. While the door sensor, to do like mivec or vtec style. When at certain rpm, turbo comes in...

I not sure it can work or not.. Need to get some advise from my sifu workshop which convert turbo car. This sifu very special. Call him fix normal saga/wira, he don't know how to fix. But you see him barai turbo kit and install back into the engine, you get scare.

hey guys, i have a question to ask.. izzit worth to spend rm5k to rebuild my engine with all new internal components, new oversized piston, port and polish, engine balancing and etc??

worth it kalau nak pakai lama. I've driven a rebuilt 4g13p before... the balancing itself will gain noticeable bhp.

yeah.. will drive for at least another 5 year before changing to new ride.. i was thinkin of rebuilt instead of overhaul it since it is an old car and overhaul only replacing the wear and tear parts.. but rebuilt do more that that.. haha

omg the smeel of petrol/exhaust in the car is getting worse when driving (suspect leaking from engine bay)... its worse then open window... can someone advice me pls
