Hey guys, normally where do you all convey to? I see that you all convey only places around KL. Not near my area. o.O
I feel like joining you all, but then I feel that the places you all go is quite far for me.

depends how much is ur engine damage... if cylinder wall too seriously scratched, u'll need to rebore it abit bigger.... if the bore exceeds certain diameter, ur original piston no longer big enough... so u must buy oversize 4g13 piston....

if jz minor scratches and within specifications, u can maintain using the piston... all u need to change is the piston ring...
piston usually cannot damage so easily, unless u over rev it.... the main culprit usually will be piston ring...

why wanna use 4g15 parts??... u wanna rebore ur engine to 1.5L??....

vr4 engine parts will not fit any part of ur engine... dont worry....

car 4g13 burning oil maybe is valve seal or piston ring only. No need to change the whole piston if your piston still usable. Normally 4g13/4g15 part in the market won't out of stock.

Now that the 4G13/15P aren't in production anymore, I wonder how long more the spare parts for these engines will be easily available...?

the spare parts will still be on the market for a long time as these 2 engines are considered as the most commonly used engines on the roads. jus think tat there are how many wiras and saga iswaras on the road today. the manufacturers still gaining profits from the spare parts of these 2 engines..

the bearing is cheap, but workmanship is expensive. RM50 for the bearing per side. prepare 'at least' the same amount for workmanship. sweat.gif

Yup, sumtimes if wanna do wheel spin I would rev until 6k. But dat 1 dulu when 1st found out how 2 do wheel spin... tongue.gif Noob. Then when I play NFS Undrgrnd2 in drag race, found out dat over rev can BLOW ur engine shocking.gif Takut edi... shocking.gif

1.5L if its better, then I won't mind tongue.gif

Yeah... Normally we charge labour Rm70 include grease... Hahhaa....

By the way, now I know the reason why stamp engine is risky.. The jpj using special light to trace it. Workshop there stamp the number, while the proton original block is not stamp. Is using special needle to write on it. So when on the special light, it will show clearly.. If you stamp the block, i confirm you can't pass puspakom inspection. Unless you got lubang inside the puspakom.

Another problem is, 4g13 and 4g15 carburetor is not same. Although it look like same, but the main jet size inside is different. That why when change to 1.5 block, the fuel will not enough to supplied to the combustion chamber if using 1.3 carburetor. So will cause jerking. So take note in this for those who intend wanna modified..
