I'd be honest with you, I've read that the Sony has lousier ISO control as compared to Canon and Nikon. Not much, but differentiable to the observant eye. This are from reviews with pictars in it, not just by word of mouth.
Still, as an overall camera the A200 is a great camera in its own right. You should prolly go test all the cameras out before deciding on which one to buy.
