First you must understand.

Original phones are back by their Main Manufacturer like NOKIA LIMITED OR NOKIA IN FINLAND.

Sit down and use logic to think. Who pay for the parts and repair for AP phones? They ownself right? So how can they survive? SO they use all kind of excuses to drag or prolong u to fix the problem

A word of warning on some Original Nokia Malaysian set. Apparently, there are NO Chinese input as secondary languages while writing messages etc.  So you might as well go buy the cheaper AP set.

Here's the confirmation from Nokia.
"Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.
In response to your inquiry, please note that the language pack made available on a Nokia phone is market and country dependent. Other Chinese writing form is only available on Nokia phones sold in countries where that style is mainly used.

It is not possible to add the extra forms as a language option on your Nokia E52 as the language pack is also part of the phone software."
*
Dont simply spread fake news if u do not know. Read the email properly.

You buy original set not to add additional language pack but for its warranty and service. 2ndly the E52 you are talking about is from which region if in malaysia the default languages are english,BM and chinese

From my experience Original Nokia phones do not require warranty card. They have your phone IMEI in their system and if there is zitron, avaxx, sapura or arista sticker means its original they know.

Usually only AP phones requires warranty card because they have no way to track.

I not sure why they ask u to bring your receipt and warranty card for original.

If you don't bring those, they want you to 'kowtow' to them or else they throw the book at you and insist on warranty card+receipt and there is nothing you can do. That way, even if you are damn mad at Nokia service/quality, you still put on your best smile.

Conspiracy theory? May be not because I further asked, what if we are willing to pay for the service because we do not have the documents on us at that time but when back at the office, we submit them to reclaim back the money we paid. Official answer from Nokia is "no, we are not going to give you back your money".

I know someone would say i am spreading fake news. Well, you people can always call up Nokia at 1-300-88-1600 yourself.
*
I no need to call Nokia. No one said u spread fake news. I am just telling u from my experience at 3 nokia centre.
I dont even know where all my receipts are btw. I go there with the phone past it to them. They type my Imei to system and tell me u still have 3 more months then ask me wat problem den fix

Phones send to centre before Nokia 8800 ARTE CARBON, Nokia E71, Nokia N95, Nokia E75 and Nokia 5800XM Original set

I am only writing what Nokia told me. Since you reported a totally different experience from what Nokia told me, may be Nokia is saying one thing but practice another? Or may be it depends entirely on whether the Nokia fellow attending you like your face or not?

BTW, I called because I do not like surprises later when service is required and I am away from home.
*
I not very sure i never call that hotline. I just go to the centre

I can even tell u after warranty

To check it will cost you RM25 if u choose not to repair they will take RM25 if u choose to repair then it will be absorb in their labour charge

Ha. Not possible. The nearest Nokia Center is 500-km away, hence calling up Nokia to confirm.
*
I am sorry to hear that. For your case bring receipt and warranty card if necessary just in case

For your info only malaysia have AP phones because our country tax us soo high and telco not willing give us some free phone plan. Ap phones mostly are taken from other countries free phone package and resell as full price in malaysia.

Ap means everything parts original just the warranty not from the authorized distributor.

AP

The pros - Its cheaper than ori set and warranty longer. If your phone neverver breaks down its worthy.

The cons -Ap phones warranty are covered by local shop . if the parts is too expensive they will push blame or make it sound like your fault. The cost of repairs have to bare by their small shop when ori set is bare by the manufacuter.

Pay less now future worry more

ORI

The pros - Its more expensive than AP set but u will have no worries they can replace any parts including casing for you because the cost are bare by manufactuer

The cons - You pay more to worry less like they all say Pay more now future worry less

you are confuse nobody said original wont have problem mate. We are taking about the warranty procedure mate.

Imagine AP u buy RM1000 lets say warranty 18months
After 16months your motherboard spoil you send it for warranty. That time replace motherboard will cost like RM600 - RM700 maybe then the shop most come out this cost themselves. So do you think in business point of view 16months ago buy RM1000 now later must repair RM700 aka is it worthy for the shop. They can just create a story say it your fault den you cant get them responsible. AP is only their shop so your risk if it crash you face this issue is very very high.

When original set warranty is by the manufacturer connected to their HQ's all around the world.

Nokia store always sells at retail price. If u get from the outside seller u get a better price because they buy in bulks.

If u wan to be safe you can try to get from recommended seller in lyn like e-tradepj or x132755. Sometimes u buy from shop they give u a cheaper price but they switch the accessories or parts

Refer here wat should be in the box

if more is extra

for original set Nokia Care Centre will fix for you.

For AP its depending on the seller because the rules are made by them they can say you damage and choose not to fix. Why not give it a try?

You dont get the point what other forumers are telling you. No one can guarantee how an AP company perform they can change or be replace easily. If you notice original brand when their distributor change they still warranty previous device within warranty but the AP company can just disappear and start a new one.

AP - They offer you at lower price because of customer hunger for the device but cant guarantee you their service because they are small. Example if you bring this to the branding company they wont entertain you.

No risk no gain = for you is cheaper price

ORI - Their name and company is protected by the branding itself. Any minor complaint or report about them effect their name thats what you are paying for.

This is call a risk game you pay less of course high risk and if pay more of course less risk.

Nowadays phones are getting bigger and bigger , then more complicated not like back then screen are like 2 to 3 inch big. Now it gets to 5.3 inch or bigger.

Back then we seldom online with the phone. Today most of us hook on the phone like a computer.

When it gets more complicated the technician that repairs must have the knowledge to fix it or they do trial and error we never know.

If you know the technician in person than it would be safer
Some cases i heard was u send in to repair A but later come out A is fixed but comes problem B

not really only warranty difference. It could be accessories in package different, could be OS language different, could be different specification and many more
