I'm playing Normal mode and I just... can't... defeat... T-Hawk!!!!!

His freaking jump attacks cover half the screen and take off such a huge chunk of damage... And his throws....!!!

Stupid Shoryukens don't have enough horizontal coverage to hit him when he lets loose a flying kick.

The round is usually over in just about 5 or 6 hits.

if the jumping attack is from far where your shoryukens cannot hit him, can't u just block ? or jump backward with RoundHouse (defense) or jump forward RoundHouse (attacking) ?



i think you didn't time your shoryuken well enough, you should wait till his flying kick is visible then only shoryuken, that will hit.

if you shoryuken before his flying kick, chances are you hit nothing and his flying kick hits your shoryuken, correct ar?

try ken's strong shoryuken (not the fire one, the middle one) it is invincible on the way up. Even when T is doing his hawk dive.

Yeah I suppose I'm also not concentrating hard enough. It just seems that his attacks seem to come out so fast, there's hardly any animation before the hit boxes start kicking in. And I'm not used to playing defensively. I was always an offense kinda guy (in KOF, anyway). I can't hadoken hadoken shoryuken all day long. Closest I came to winning was using Blanka to jump fierce kick him constantly. Worked, until I got too close and he freakin' threw me.

yeap !! u got that right ! don't go too near these "thrower" characters like t.hawk and zangief when u not in an attacking combo .. else .. u get thrown

by the way, u using ryu, ken or akuma ??

someone mention my e-honda haha mikeeee yesterday around 12am u offline liao cannot play with u lar...haih......

I was using mainly Ryu... Even tried Ken and E-Honda and Guile and Blanka and Bison. Can't select Akuma 'cause I haven't beaten the game yet. Only time I tried to play the Arcade mode I couldn't get past T-Hork.

Err, no need to beat the game to use Akuma la .

me use mr.zangief...muahahaha
slow but defend and offend are good...
defeat m.bison (VEGA in jap ver.) quite challenging though.

aiya ... i ONLINE back at 12:15am and saw u offline already ahhahaha .. after that VS with theonejin till 2 something hehee... it was great, i learning how to use akuma but his Chun Li arrrrggghhhhh , all her jumping /crouching kicks have so high priorities !!! damn hard to fight chun li ..

best is still our blanka vs blanka matches, we were never shy to exchange love bites !!!! hahahah

now i'm really worried my Sixaxis will die on me BUT hehe , hopefully by next week ... i'll get to make use of all 6 Buttons

Zangief reminds me of Daimon from KOF. Just size and power, no speed. I'll try him.

lag ?? depends on your internet line lor, but so far quite happy with ONLINE game play BUT when it really lags, you will know
sometimes when the line behaves, you can have many many undisturbed game , for example , i had over 20 games with squall during a single session without any disconnection, but sometimes i can't even connect to him hahaa
