check another psp thread. got instruction there

I have just upgraded my PSP from 3.90 M33-4 to 5.00 M33-4. Games are working fine but a surprisingly thing is all of my game's save file are corrupted!

Is there a way to save the files?

@kkw: I am not sure if there is any problem by using other brand's M2 stick. Perhaps install the custom firmware and try to copy some songs inside and see that it is working or not.

saved file corrupted??? So, we must copy our save file to our comp and den only atart with firmware upgrade izzit????

I don't know. I lost all of my save files (only 1 is safe) and I am not sure that if we copy out the files, it will be recognized by the new version or not. I guess that is the reason they don't want to upgrade their firmware if possible though.

latios, can u try backing up ur savegame.
then, u try format ur mspd using psp.
after, try putting the savegame back. who knows it will be resolved. i myself did not corrupted anything or messed up any setting since twice upped.

haven't buy also... i just asking... if no problem then i buy high speed... hehe

i read somewhere in this thread dat some games got also save its firmware data when saving..maybe dats d prob?

Wahhh, lately my psp hang alot. While playing game, suddenly it load intensively, nonstop. Go back to home or force shutdown also didn't help. When turn on back, it will continue load. A temporary but not so effective way i did to recover is to enter recovery mode and choose run program at eboot. Sometimes it work and my psp back to normal while displaying " game could not start".

Anyone got good solution and tip to prevent it from happening again?
Is it turn on sleep mode while charging / middle of the game is bad?

maybe u need setting sumting at recovery

change umd mode to sony np9660 in m33 recovery menu or using vshmenu

nowdays many psp savegame are firmware dependant... that means, u cant use the savegame on diffrent firmware..
thats why u got the message about corrupted save file..

i just bought this 4 gb mspd only.in future if have money then buy la.i want buy this http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-1p-49-...2x5l-43-ih.html . i wonder why sandisk don't have 16gb mspd

a 3.6v 1200mAh official battery until fully charged can be used 6h 48m according to psp system information. dono that is for standby or playing.
i think playing is less than that, moreover play with sound fully blasted, and brightness is fully loaded.
