anyone use this package?
*
-I'm using that package; but currently no streamyx for me because of stolen telephone cable - 'conveniently' just after I registered for this... sweat.gif (I migrated my existing streamyx into this package).

-BTW, it's a streamyx 1Mbps (RM88) + Celcom BB D68 (RM68) combo. For RM108 together, it's really saves you some money la. Except for me, I'm paying RM54 (RM108รท2=RM54) for already 7 months now, because of the unavailability of streamyx. So, not bad getting 20.5% discount for the sluggish D68 brows.gif (but this is after countless hours of calls to 1111 and 'visits' to Celcom branch la...)

Regards.

Kuching/Kota Samarahan user here. Not much improvement on my side because got .130 which is specifically for capped user. I didn't use more than 5 GB this month and they put me in capped list. doh.gif

If you feel slow on downloads, do not upgrade the package just yet. Plus, this broadband is not suitable for online games because of high latency. You need to go for wired.

Ya lor. I just start my new billing cycle but still got .130 cry.gif cry.gif

Hi,
I'm D98 user from Kuching. The speed is okay, but you'll easily hit 5GB cap. The lantency between D68 and D98 are the same (unless you're saying that your area do not have HSDPA, then also no point going for D98). My torrent speed can reach 100kBps during uncap, but now my speed is 10kBps (cap at 128kbps by Celcom).
*
thanks for the feedback guys! smile.gif my area has HSDPA living in Stampin/Hua Joo Park area lasted i checked on the celcom website. i dont do torrents download and what not, i just surf and watch youtube, and most of the time i just use to connect to my ps3 to play online, so far it's do-able, i cant complain much, as long i'm able to play online wit abit of lag i dont really mind, because the only way i can get wired connection is wit TMnut, and Tmnut is begin a real nut.

they give me so much BS wit my telephone pole, my neighbors have telephone line and all..just that the last pole they installed in my area is a few meters too far from my house and they cant connect a line to my house, and whats worst they only told me after 4monts of waiting for the answer that they rejected my application! mad.gif

the only way for me is wireless BB, what can i say dry.gif...so what we all saying here is, no matter what plan i use D68 or D98, its gonna give me the same performance on online gaming despite a more bigger data volume transfer in download and upload speed?

btw can i just upgrade my plan through online? or must i go the celcom center to upgrade it..thanks again guys! notworthy.gif

u can do nothing about it. using bc with celcom bb makes things worst. the minimum upload is 10kB, which for capped users d68, u have only 8kB max. look for other client that give the option to lower upload rate.

You need to fill in an application form (upgrade) and sign on it. Therefore, can't do it online...
