core/mem freq is 625/1900 default is it?
*
the glaciator design, a lil noisy when 100%, but temp is quite good

default non factocy oc'ed core|mem clock is 625|1004 (2008)

haha! ask for my friend only.

nvm you just go ahead.

selling mine for my friend  biggrin.gif

So HD4850 really that hot?

then i might consider GTX260. anyone here have them already? how was the temp with this GC??

rgds
*
it can be that hot, if u stress both graphic card, in a casing that's FULLY closed with no exhaust fan, no intake, all passive

i never reached more than 80c pun when gaming with cf enabled

but since u going for gtx260, go for it man... performance wise, it beats 4850 biggrin.gif

bro,i was testing by using a CM690 with an intake right beside them. rclxub.gif no need passive already go 100c,if passive,it wont last for a minute, btw, both card have been oced to 4870 speed already.
*
hmm.. got try side intake as exhaust? i did dat and its doing 80c biggrin.gif, idle just around 53~55c

The dominator fan seems to be ok.
The airflow is pretty good. Should be doing a good job cooling down the pair of xtreems.

Haha, the backplate cooler, didn't you realise it looks so new? I did not even feel like fitting it on. Already know it won't fit, so wasting time trying...tongue.gif

For the fans, try get some 25mm Deltas to mount on the front and rear, and the center, get another 200cfm delta... drool.gif

Btw, i saw u guys were discussing about the 4850 or the GTX260 216SP.
I was wondering, why not go for a 4870 straight, get the Asus Dark KNight, the temps are pretty good for the 1gb version.
*
haha.... gonna get myself 3 pairs of delta 35mm when i get my pay biggrin.gif
200cfm delta dun1 la, learned my lesson, now ill buy a much less noisier ones biggrin.gif

My Q9550 @3.4Ghz, doing 48c when normal usage(Browsing+movie), never checked idle. Cooled using TRUE with Lau yah AC Ryan Dead LED fan..
Previously on IFX-14, on normal usage(Browsing+movie), Stock Speed, temp was around 43c.

I'm still thinking whether to switch to WC or stick to Air...
Wah, not bad...30c only...
I look at my temps, i headache. If i push up to 3.8 (if the chip will do), that'll be a little too much for the TRUE to Handle.
*
right now, idle with 3 sanyo denki fans, 37-35-32-32 @ 1.152v biggrin.gif
load with linx 62-60-61-61 @ 1.168v biggrin.gif

like wat u said, need good fans.. previously using the cm 90cfm, temps were 66-66-65-65 @@

i oso had to relap the ifx, and reapply the thermal paste @@

overall, good performance biggrin.gif

then no extra money edy..

stick with stock cooler..( the thin one)
and step back my clock to 3GHz ++ @ 1.25v
idle temp at night around 43-46 only..
during gaming can go to 55-60 only..( as usually no game use all 4 cores 100% like OCCt)
