hi, is it possible to make my external HD to work like ReadyBoost, means as other Cache memory place i've tried before, but it can't but the ReadyBoost can only work at my Thumbdrive.. or do i need another software to make my external HD to become like cache memory place.

HDD wouldn't make it for ReadyBoost... latency is too high...
if HDD can do it, ReadyBoost wouldn't even exist in the first place...

i believe it's only pagefile in the case of XP...
but in Vista, for ReadyBoost it needs to fufill this requirement: 3.5MB/s for 4KB random reads and 2.5MB/s for 512KB random writes uniformly across the device
HDD will never meet this requirement...

Using external HD to ReadyBoost is same as using normal hard disk's virtual memory =) It defeats the purpose. Only use ReadyBoost with fast enough flash drives.
