Later when it use for war, its share will go up back.

That's a very good report leh... and like what they say, Resort has a 4.3 BILLION cash pile, RM250 million is nothing to them....

So why the market react so badly....

Anyway, hope investors read these reports and realize that they over-reacted... then, it is up up and away!!!

Is the drop in Genting & Resorts caused by local selling, or inclusive of US foreign fund selling? When US comes back from Holiday, will there be another round of sell down by US Funds?

prolly consolidating its shareholders fund and tightening its grip on the open market giving it more control.

btw those Resort have any bumi shareholding? I wonder if ValueCap or EPF is part of the s/h which i doubt ... lol

Maybe some investor panic after see Genting fall, and they oso worried about Resort commitment in buying 3 US companies ( Lim kok Teh is the director of the companies).

I queued at 2.28, will see how market react later in the evening. Maybe will grab at higher price than 2.28.. Man.. resort is RM2+ shares..
expensive leh.. my bullet run out fast.

I made little profit on lionind this morning... buy 30K unit n fast fast sell off..

0331 GMT [Dow Jones] Lion Industries (4235.KU) +2.9% at 64.5 sen in heavy volume; resistance at 68 sen (30-day moving average); this after posting 69.2% rise in 1Q09 net profit to MYR107.9 million. OSK's Ng Sem Guan says stock is trading at trough levels; retains Buy call with MYR1.86. Notes results were 14.1% above OSK's expectations on annualized basis; core earnings almost reached our original FY estimates, representing 450.2% on-year improvement. "The remarkable core profit can be attributed to spot and forward sales that were concluded at or before the peak of the steel cycle and delivered during the quarter," analyst concludes.
