hey guys can anyone tell me which modal of 250gb hdd that can support by new HDDHackr. Would like to know which shop and much is the price if possible.

Congrats to you.

Well just found out that the new update doesn't lock out home made hdd. So its still safe to use.

Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD2500BEVT is reported to work. It has been working since HDDHackr 1.00

Thanks for the info. Btw any tips in which shop i should get in lowyat? =P

I am having both XPort 360 and Xplorer360 as ealier my 60gb cant detect anything in partition 3 using Xplorer360.

Ya, not that hard after all. I dont have to do the hexing said on the 1st page, thank god. I dont even know what it is for. Maybe the latest HDDHackr doesnt need it thumbup.gif

Hi..hi...all high master, after reading the thread, seem like it's really complicated in flashing the drive. I am from Penang. Any sifu from penang who can help me with flashing the drive. Willing to pay for the trouble, or a big treat to mamak stall biggrin.gif .

Btw, if i buy the official xbox360 120Gb hard disk from the shop, would it need go thru those flashing step too? or is it plug and play?

Flashing WD HDD part is easy. Backup/transfer files from old HDD to new one is what some troublesome sweat.gif

For the official MS 120GB, u can just plug and play.

Guys, thanks for replying..so nobody from penang here? i check from PCdepot the WD Scorpio Blue 320Gig cost RM197, screwing up RM197 still bearable..but screwing up xbox360 means i can never play the box with install game again..that's really risky rclxub.gif

Any good people out there will to help message me thumbup.gif

Dont worry, if anything bad happen its only at the HDD, not the console. I'm using Scorpio Blue 320GB too. Its WD3200BEVT.

hi ya, Lakum, thanks for the reply, do you have step by step insrtuction on how you are able to flash your hard drive? I have check from youtube, it seem like we need special torque driver to open the hard disk casing right?

U can just follow the tutorial here at the 1st page. Maybe u need to skip few parts with the new HDDHackr. Mainly for the flashing part u can just follow the HDDHackr on screen option. And yes u need torx screwdriver to open the case, also mention at the 1st page.

Few notes, u need Xplorer360 extreme2 to copy files from ur old hdd, but to transfer the files back to the new flashed 250gb, u need the patch Xplorer360 for 250gb. I'm sure u can look around on the net and i'm sorry coz i dont have a proper tutorial to give it to u.

Why not go for 250gb? Too many useless space on ur 320gb.
