r u using the old or new trading hall?

i find the old hall on pc more reliable - sometimes, it slows and appear to get stuck but resumes quickly.

new hall on tablet - i find this less reliable - dies more frequently.

looks to me still problematic...

do you know the brokerage fee % that was committed to you when signing up - for normal trading and for intraday trading?

also, intraday brokerage should be lower but the rebate comes later.

note besides brokerage fees, there is stamp duty and some other minor charges.

i suggest u call helpdesk to clarify in detail so that you know what to expect at next trade.

Anyone knows how to open click trader account? Thanks.
*
contact i*Trade@CIMB Call Centre at 03 2084 9890.
u need to go sign up with a cimb broker.

u can link itrade acc to a cimb bank acc for easy money transfer.
if not, or manually bank in when u need to.

call and talk to them can't explain all that here...

I am confused with CIMB brokege charges, I thought they only charge 0.42% but how come all my transaction are being charge with 0.7%?? How can I get the 0.28% from CIMB since I trade all via i-trade??

Also, anybody know about the tiny little interest rate given for those case unused and keep in the i-trade account? Is it around 2.5%?
*
normal acc is 0.42%, i believe. yr 0.7% must be the total incl stamp duty and other charges.
call helpdesk to get all the calc if u need...

0.28%... is this for intra-day?

yes, 2.5% pa int earned for cash sitting in the acc.

Thanks. But I already have itrade account. Do I need to open a new account for click trader or just need a few clicks on the website?
*
if u oledi hv itrade acc, u can log in and buy-sell.

itrade and clicks are independent.

u only need clicks if u want move money between the two.

there are many who do not have any cimb bank acc and hence no need for clicks but have itrade. in this case, you move money between between itrade and some other bank acc. itrade provide easy online for maybank2u users (besides cimb clicks) but i believe for other banks, u need to physically bank in cheques.

So how can I enjoy the click trader brokerage rate of 0.0388%? I still need to open click trader account right? If I need to open one may I know how?
*
itrade = cimb platform for bursa stocks
clicks = cimb online banking portal

i dunno what the brokerage fees are now for new customers what new promos and deals.

to open clicks acc, you must first have a cimb bank account, saving or current. if you have that, you need an atm card to register, get password at atm, then open online at the site.

i m not sure if i m helping here, so best you call the itrade no. already posted and/or clicks 22956100.

they can guide you step by step over the phone.

Hi ppl,

I have an iTrade account and currently trading Bursa equities.

I am thinking of investing in SGD since it's a stronger currency than RM, maybe buying up REITs and keep for long term. Does anyone know:
1. what are the fees involved compared to buying BURSA stocks?
2. when selling, is the FOREX rate good or bad compared to normal KL bank rates? I presume selling singapore equities will convert the funds back to RM before depositing into trust account?
3. How are singapore stock dividends come back? In cheque or credit to trust account?

Anyone with experience and knowledge, please help.
Thanks in advance.
*
just noticed no one answered u...

if not too late:

1. what are the fees involved compared to buying BURSA stocks?
<rm100k, 0.42%, >rm100k, 0.275%. plus some other misc charges.
2. when selling, is the FOREX rate good or bad compared to normal KL bank rates? I presume selling singapore equities will convert the funds back to RM before depositing into trust account?
forex is normal bank prevailing rate on the day of settlement.
3. How are singapore stock dividends come back? In cheque or credit to trust account?
div in sgd is kept in sgd in the zero interest trust acc unlike rm trust acc. u can use them to buy more sg stocks. only when you make arrangement with them will they convert to rm.
money is deposited into yr designated cimb acc. not sure if u can ask them to deposit in other bank acc.

note... to trade sg, hk, usa with itrade, u need to sign some papers with the banker first.

I see Maybank charges RM 0.50 for each transfer.

What about CIMB or FPX?
*
itrade is cimb product. edposit from cimb account = internal transfer = zero charge.

I only managed to search for my eDeposit Transaction History. If also im holding some stock and sell it, where do I see my balance?
*
alto the transfer is done and money gone from yr bank acc, it will only show up the next day under reports.

stocks acquired will show up under portfolio.

It's been days..do u mind..exactly which report? Under my portfolio? Or in repository? Don't see them..only see successful fund transfer history in edeposit
*
on itrade screen, there is watchlist, buy, sell,.... reports, portfolio.

under reports, there are many reports... client summary, monthly statement, etc. this is where you can see what funds u hv and what is pending to pay, due, etc.

under portfolio, u can see various displays of what you hv paid for, ready to sell if u wish.

one thing... r u using pc or tablet? on my ipad, those data dun always come out. sometimes can see, sometimes cant, sometimes wait a while it comes out. pc-notebook, no problem.
