Thanks..take this scenario..i edeposit RM10k

use 4k to buy a share. Remaining 6k would i see this "balance" anywhere?
*
it will be shown in the reports-client summary.
in time, any interest earned, u will see it too.

before t+3 due date, the full 10k and stocks bot values are shown.
when paid, all is zero except yr balance.
the paid stocks will show in portfolio.

Ytd i bought a stock with contra. i sold it today with the earning.. i check the itrade system settlement part.. It still need me to do the settlement.. It is normal or the system havent update the record for selling today?
Do i need banking money again to the trust account? Anyone can clear my doubt? thanks..
*
if hv sold on time, no worry.
the record is updated only in the night, u see it next day.
contra gains/loss, if not mistaken will only be due in t+7.
so, u gotta wait a bit to get the profit.

i did. my transactions keep getting rejection today, unable to place order. After hour though it is able to place orders. This situation has been happening occasionally for many months. maybe one or two days a month in average.  yawn.gif

suggested by cimb broker to use google chrome instead of ie.
yes, it's better - more stable, more info comes out.

ytd contact till now havent get respond yet.. zz.. if the the interest is based on 10percent of the contra transaction.. then really not worth to go for.. noone can survive this..
*
shud be 10% per annum of the loss amount, not traded value.

e.g. say after trading 10mil in a week, u lost 10k but dun pay up after t+7 and drag for a year, int will be 1k, so you owe them total 11k.

if loss is small and u pay up fast, int wun be much. but there cud be a min charge after the deadline to pay up.

Sifus out thereeeee

Can anyone explain to me the difference between buying shares throught CIMB Clicks and iTrade?
*
cimb terminology can be confusing...

cimb clicks = online portal for banking incl accounts, transfers, ibg's, credit cards
itrade online = online platform to view and trade bursa, sgx, hkx, nasdaq, etc...

clicks trader = trade bursa shares via nominee account, no need individual cds account
? trader = trade all bourses using own cds account
for both, u need cimb bank account, registered in clicks and itrade online

google the terms, u'll find the details.

the transaction fees are charged by each counter transaction, or charged at several counter transaction together?
*
always per transaction.

lower charges under certain conditions, e.g. intraday trade, above a certain trading value in one day, etc...

hi guys, i successfully registered my CDS account to link with itrade n now it appears in itrade selection.

so what the next step? do i need to deposit rm1k minimum with eDeposit & can traight trading or need to make any necessary calls first? hmm

newbie learning here. appreciate the feedback. smile.gif
*
do e-deposit, will take 24 hrs to get there. u can see the money in the report section. then u trade.

if u buy and then pay up on time, the shares paid up has a value, can trade with that too.

if new to this, best go slow, be careful so as not to get caught up with losses or insufficient cash/shares or no time to deposit - this will force them to force sell on yr behalf which is never beneficial to u.

n, no harm calling itrade helpdesk and ask a few questions to be very clear.

QUOTE(vram @ May 26 2014, 10:34 AM)
1. I have Click Traders which is nominee account and this is linked to CIMB Clicks, so I can withdraw etc with no problems.

2. I also have ITrade account with own CDS. When I sell, the proceeds go into the trust account. I can withdraw from the trust account by calling my remisier. I would like to know if the trust account can also be linked to CIMB Clicks so that I can withdraw without going through the remisier? Or is there any other way?

Thanks.
*
for the cds-itrade-trust acc, if u have signed a doc keep proceeds in trust, u hv to call to transfer it.
i suppose u can sign a new doc to instruct them to transfer any proceed to yr bank acc, no keeping in trust.
i dun think there is "a keep in trust but i can transfer myself anytime" option.

by using cimb as an example... can u show which is which? coz i hv a CDS account. it can be viewed in the iTrade. not sur about the trust account though..
*
in itrade, u can view yr trust account activity incl balance in reports-client summary.
u wud hv signed a doc to keep money in trust acc at the time u opened the cds acc.
if u do not hv trust acc, it means everytime u buy n sell, the money is direct, no holding, no interest, etc.

check reports-client summary in i-trade.
it takes over night to see it.
mon-fri only. so if u e-deposit on a fri, u see only on the next mon.

click trader is under cimb nominee acc.
itrade is own cds account.
there are differences when it comes to brokerage fee structure, trading limits and ipo's.
talk to yr broker to know details.

sorry im not familiar with itrade

im using itrade, no cimb bank acc linked, but i have a cimb current acc
*
do you know if yr itrade is own cds account or cimb nominee account?

if itrade cds account, u can link yr cimb cuurent acc to it. then you can call itrade remisier after selling to transfer money to yr bank cimb bank acc. then u r free to do ibg anytime to mbb or any other bank.

if nominee account, i think u need to personally go to the office to fill n sign a form to transfer out the money.

u can always call cimb/itrade and ask about the nature and details of yr account.
