Even if you didn't use the slider, it will still crack. I think it's because of the phone design. The slider bar is somehow outside the phone body and easily being scratch.

Mine still hasn't and hopefully it won't crack. I saw my friend's one which has already cracked. It's actually due to dropping smile.gif

We ppl need to be fast with our music...so we use the shortcut. Anyway I see that this function is the only special function of this phone.

@ carpathia
It is a worthwhile phone. THe price is reasonable n u get good features. Just coz something cracks easily, doesnt mean it is not worth investing in 1. BTW, phones are not investments. The second u get it, the price has dropped by RM200.

Yea yea. Like me. First I've got a plastic cover for the phone then I've got a pouch. I mean it also depends from one person to another. To me this phone is worth investing on. smile.gif

Same here. I rather take the trouble to access it from the menu rather than slider the slider key. It seems like my sliding key is getting looser since the day I bought it.

Some users are rough with their phones. I got mine as a reward so of coz I treat it like it is made of jelly... hehe.

accessing music player from menu takes too long time.

i can save few seconds of my time by just sliding.

it comes with a price though sad.gif

Here's a tip for users of silicone cases :

if u found out that the phone becomes unresponsive immediately or shortly after putting on the silicone casing, do check ur camera shutter button at the right side of the phone.

some silicone cases dont have much space given at that area causing the shutter button to be slightly pressed, enough to hang the controls but not to on the camera itself.

Take off the silicone case and try to push the shutter partially until its flush with the sides of the phone. if ur keypad presses then does not register, its confirmed.

Solution : take a cutter blade and trim the silicone around the shutter button enough to enable keypad while its on. if your shutter becomes unresponsive just remap it to another shortcut.

What I know is that if you wanna put 8Gb can one but then the memory shouldn't store to the max 8Gb if not the memory card will get corrupted and something like that.
