Well, I've not seen a Standard Schnauzer just yet, but Candy is a Giant Schnauzer as told by my trainer...she was brought in from Germany, so I guess it's correct

QUOTE(bazaar91 @ Feb 26 2009, 05:54 PM) em.. not willing to take care him! Errm...do you mean you cannot take care of him already? If you really mean you're not willing, why get a puppy in the first place? Sorry to hear you can't take care of Cooper anymore...hope he'll find his furever home soon! |

QUOTE(bazaar91 @ Feb 26 2009, 06:31 PM) this the one of the problem y i wanted to sell him away.. my family member all dun like him! i dun know y , i still cant get the reason! im really feel sad to sell him away! Why sell leh? I think if you put up for adoption is even better, as you can screen through the potential owners and set some conditions to ensure that Cooper gets to go to a good home Sorry to hear that your family doesn't like Cooper |

QUOTE(ahju_vodka @ Mar 3 2009, 05:17 PM) I actually have something similar to this, but it's half that size...or should I say, the top part does not divide into two like the attachment...it's one big piece. I didn't buy it from Malaysia though...my sister got it for me from Korea. Scottie uses it when he is in his playpen, but he doesn't like to do his business there now...he prefers to go outside. Added on March 3, 2009, 5:49 pm QUOTE(ahju_vodka @ Mar 3 2009, 05:25 PM) Not sure if it's more expensive, but I definitely prefer using this than to use the wee wee pad tray thingy. When my sister got it for me, it came with two absorbent pads like the wee wee pad too, but after a while, I prefer to just use the tray. Every time Scottie / Kenji do their business there already, just wash off and put to dry. Very convenient and easy. Definitely hard to find here, I think...have yet to see a pet shop selling it here. This post has been edited by Rayne: Mar 3 2009, 05:49 PM |

IAMS is not a good brand in my opinion...it's just only SLIGHTLY better than the dogfood that is sold in supermarkets like Purina / Pedigree. If you're buying kibbles, try to opt for higher quality kibbles, like Acana, Orijen, or Addiction (though Addiction is a dehydrated food, and you would need to wet it, making it more of a wet food than dry). Look at the labels on the packaging to see the ingredients on the food. The first ingredient listed should ALWAYS be meat (eg chicken, lamb, beef, etc) and not animal by products or grains. In fact, I think kibbles should not contain any grains, corn, or soy.
I THINK I've posted an article here quite some time ago on how to rate the kibbles in the market. Let me look it up...if it's not, I'll post it here again for you to have a look EDIT: I found it, but I can't seem to post the link for some reason (or maybe it's just me). Anyways, you can always do a search in this topic. Type in the keywords 'grade dog food' in the text field at the bottom left of the posts. It should come out with my post. I checked P/S: I almost forgot...most probably your breeder would have been feeding Ramses another brand of kibble. It's best to ask him/her about it and stick to it for a while before changing the food if you want to. Sudden change of food for a pup could cause loose stools. Here's another link for top ranked kibbles found in the Whole Dog Journal: http://www.geocities.com/rottndobie/wholedogjournal2.html
Most of them are from America though...not sure if we can find those brands here in Malaysia. Anyways, just thought I'd share |

Well, I think FLUFF carries Orijen...you could also try the bigger petshops like the one in Taman Megah, or Pet Safari? Usually, these bigger stores would have more variety, and MIGHT just carry those brands. Not very sure though coz I'm not from around PJ. Maybe someone else from PJ would have a better clue

If I remember correctly, I bought Acana Salmon & Potato for about RM40 - RM50 plus? Not a very big pack...I THINK it was about 2kg plus? Can last Scottie for 1 month per pack. I got them from DoGroom in Kuchai Lama...but that was quite some time ago, and it was way before I found raw feeding
