Yeah i think so far it's better lor. That's one down but a million other things Kimi is allergic to.
I just found out she's allergic to the dust accumulated in her bed. Sigh..

wah..see u all describe... schnauzer breed iszit alll so naughty one? i scare my Kenji will be like that as well leh.... now he start bite newspaper, bite human toes and eat lizard shit d  sweat.gif

No lar.. example Kimi isn't like that. They should be taught to never bite humans or else you won't trust them with children alone ma.
Eventhough it might seem like playing, any flesh in between her mouth is considered biting or potential biting.
So advise is to try to avoid it lor.

Another thing:
If you come home and your dog is greeting you with pee, it is a sign of submission to pack leaders (you). This is normal.
To avoid this, when you come home and he's excited, don't bend down or over the dog.
Keep standing up. You can still greet him but just don't bend down or over.
Let him calm down. Then you can do apa saja.

*happened to me so i researched it and it works*

waichee86,

My Wilbur same naughty also, thought to give him a bigger space and can walk around the living room when I working. End up, when I came back, all my plastic flower (decoration) near TV gone (in Wilbur stomach), bite the newspaper, bite the magazine, eat the Wee Wee pad, bite the internet wire and tear it from the wall.  vmad.gif    mad.gif    vmad.gif

From that time, i have to lock him in the playpen.....
*
hehe... it happens la.. for the time being, allow her freedom in living room only when you're around lor.
Dogs don't care if they are in playpen or not. They will adapt so don't worry about leaving them there while you're at work.

BTW
You guys and gals should watch Dog Borstal on Animal Planet (CH556)Astro. I think it shows on Monday (last night) and about 10pm or 11pm.
Very good. Shows you every week all different problematic dogs (much worse than anyone here la) and how the dog training camp changes the behavior in one week.

The show taught me quite a lot liao

My Scottie would...smile.gif If he wants to manja, he will come over, jump on the sofa and sit on my lap smile.gif Sometimes, if he's tired, he will just plop down on my lap and sleep...haha! smile.gif

i think what FriedChicken meant was the dog will sit on your lap with his butt only... not the "squat" that they usually do

IAMS is not a good brand in my opinion...it's just only SLIGHTLY better than the dogfood that is sold in supermarkets like Purina / Pedigree. If you're buying kibbles, try to opt for higher quality kibbles, like Acana, Orijen, or Addiction (though Addiction is a dehydrated food, and you would need to wet it, making it more of a wet food than dry). Look at the labels on the packaging to see the ingredients on the food. The first ingredient listed should ALWAYS be meat (eg chicken, lamb, beef, etc) and not animal by products or grains. In fact, I think kibbles should not contain any grains, corn, or soy.

I THINK I've posted an article here quite some time ago on how to rate the kibbles in the market. Let me look it up...if it's not, I'll post it here again for you to have a look smile.gif
EDIT: I found it, but I can't seem to post the link for some reason (or maybe it's just me). Anyways, you can always do a search in this topic. Type in the keywords 'grade dog food' in the text field at the bottom left of the posts. It should come out with my post. I checked smile.gif

P/S: I almost forgot...most probably your breeder would have been feeding Ramses another brand of kibble. It's best to ask him/her about it and stick to it for a while before changing the food if you want to. Sudden change of food for a pup could cause loose stools.

I think the Top grade kibbles were ranked as:

Evanger
Natural Balance
Eaglepack
Back to Basic
Artemis
Acana
Innova
