For my case Maybank CC is not difficult. I never apply one but they keep offering me card from time to time. Never own any Mayban CC before this offer.
Last year CS call for for Petronas Card. I told them if they really want to offer me CC then given me platinum. Unfortunately I only received gold & straight away cancel the card. Last 2 week received a pre-approved AMEX from Maybank. They offer quite nice bag if accept the card. I decide to go for it. haha.

Added on February 5, 2009, 10:33 amweird...using Maybank treatspoints as an example, I can get a RM50 voucher with 9000 points. Based on that, each point is worth just over 0.55% on any purchase. Also means its 0.55% cash rebate...quintuple (x5 or 1.65%) if you use Petronas card. So Maybank TreatsPoints are almost 3 times the value of Ambank points?...lol either way, look for something with 2% rebate...that even beats the Maybank Petronas card. Missed RHB's 5% rebate on their card... sorry for the geeky post Standard Chartered Debit Card offer 7% cash rebate on petrol. Also you still can collect realreward or mesra point.  . Oops I should not mention it here. Look more in debit card thread. |

For 3 month balance transfer, Bank Islam Platinum is the best. Only need to pay upfront fee of RM6.20. It is 0% Balance Transfer.
