wah... 1-2 months...
when we owe them money, charge us interest for outstanding...
when they owe us, takes so long.
1-2 months is cheque arrive your mailbox , this is because when you went to the branch filling up the cancellation form, it will not immediately cancel your card on the spot, but they will ask you to wait for their officer to call you up on why you want to cancel the card and offer you some waiver on AF or CL increase, usually 1-2 weeks time , after that if you still want to cancel they will proceed for it around 3-5 working days. Sending out cheque via normal mail took around few days to weeks again depend on their mood, that's why roughly 1-2 months for the whole process when we owe them money, charge us interest for outstanding...
when they owe us, takes so long.
Better use up the money and pay the remaining balance via online banking or over counter then just cut the card and return to them.
