DA no more petrol rebate?

According to the flyer which I received, DA still got rebate (for Mastercards only). Capped to a maximum spending or RM2.5K or RM50 rebate per card per monthly statement. Valid till 30th April 2009.

DO u think it's work if I call them on 1st attempt??or need to call many times????I need someone who had experienced it b4 to tell me....I don't know should I talk rough to them or politely???I don't want to be bullied by them... biggrin.gif
*
Why don't you try calling first and see whether our advise works and don't write (and whine) like what you just typed ? vmad.gif
And please do not tell them "Oh, someone in LYN ask me to do this", we do not want the banks to start noticing this little thread don't we ?

It's no big deal they do not want to give you free annual fee waiver, cancel the card if Citibank refuse. From the way that you sounded, it appears that you allow them to bully you and you are so deperate for a Citibank card. yawn.gif Got forummer who spent many times more than you but yet do not get an annual fee waiver and it's no big deal to them. They just cancel the card.

Sorry folks for my short outburst but if you haven't even try but yet asking us the above so what can we do ? If you are so unsecure then cancel your cc and don't ever use a cc then surely no bank will ever bully you. thumbup.gif

Hey guys,
Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Gong Xi for all chinese forumers.

I need help from you guys in regards to the type of credit cards in Malaysia in my assignment.

I listed some of the below:

Standard Credit Cards
Business Credit Cards
Petrol Credit Cards
Rewards Credit Cards
Islamic Credit Card

I search through internet and i found 5 types of credit card available in Malaysia.anyone come across other than the listed above? Mind to share? i need it for my assignment.

Well, my personal opinion is that I do not agree with the categorization that you are using. The banks don't use it, you miss certain cards and there are serious flaws about the way that you categorize it. (At least in my personal opinion) I suggest that you search through all the banks websites, understand their cc offerings and make an analysis from there.

I'm not too enthusiatic about doing your homework for you but I think I have given you some hints. Good luck!

Just notice an interesting information

I recently applied for a UOB cc and when I called the UOB cs (03-26128121) to check my card application status, I will be put through the menu. The system will ask me to key in my IC and phone number. Then the system will drop my call after saying they will contact me as soon as possible.

Next .... the bank only called me back 16 hours later. (on a working day) Is that efficient or what ? Do you think you want to risk using UOB while you are overseas and you need to call back the bank urgently ?

Minimum qualifier for a credit card is RM18K per annum. (Which comes up to RM1.5K per month) I'm afraid you won't qualify for any cards from any of the banks.

Could the TS please update the 1st page on the admin fees ? DA will start to impose an additional 1% for overseas transactions starting 1st April 2009. Got this info via my statement this month.

Not sure about CIMB cards though.
