i think most of the card need phone activation,but for cimb,i am suprised that the officer say no need to do phone activation.

so any other card that doesnt need phone activation after u receive it?

Been noticed the Citibank AirAsia Classic Card is very SIMILAR to the HSBC Classic Card 

I saw most cc, the minimum annual salary is RM30k. If I only earn RM1.5k per month (annual salary is RM18k), means I have no chance to apply ?

Sorry, does 'retail purchase' includes

- petrol pumps swiping
- paying bills like telco/water/electric

?

Maybe Parkson or Metrojaya or even Econsave

David83, I suspect this call to come from those fishy operators who just wants to scam you out of your CC information. Banks will never call you from a mobile phone, most likely from a fixed line number. I suspect a scam. BTW ... what's the full story anyway ?

Making a complaint is one thing but I doubt so anything is going to happen as to begin with there's no such product from MBB. Unfortunately rockstar teddy would need to sit the problem out. Personally I don't trust CS much unless I am able to
cross check the info on the bank's website.

Not really back then ... I applied mine through the form which was attached in the statement which I obtained from them. Filled it in and mailed it over. The next few weeks, got the PIN in my mailbox. I know they are not that efficient but what I'm saying, it might not be the only method.

There's no "best card" coz every person taste and requirements are different...
Anyway.....Im now thinking.

My main card is Maybankard coz i got savings account for easy repayment...
And i have another UOB One card for Petrol and occasionally GSC or Carrefour (if above RM100 to get the cashback else Maybankard for normal points)

Now, should i get the Maybank Petronas card and pump Petronas for 2x points? Or i should keep my current way?

And bear in mind, NO TREATSPOINTS will be awarded during the promotion month

IMO citibank-shell kinda sucks, you have to keep some debt on card to get the small rebates, interest also more than the rebates i think...
