QUOTE(sadako-chan @ Dec 18 2008, 03:23 AM) FSB 400? Lol erm.... actually not wana go to highest clock, but oni wana try JW either stable or nt on high HTT I dunno, with the new mhz overclocking wars, is it really good to trade of higher clock speed with lower htt and NBspeed? Some even go the length of disabling one or more cores just to get speed. Originally, overclocking was done to get more performance out of the PC, but now see it like chasing CPU clockspeed and synthetic benchmarks, real life performance be damned. Anyway, Deepcool KW, I'm getting from tkh_1001, banking in tommorow hopefully, 10 bucks extra for postage. Added on December 18, 2008, 2:51 pm QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Dec 18 2008, 09:03 AM) pls dun use FSB here bro, gone were d days that AMD uses d term FSB in their architecture. how high a phenom can go on htt depend on d chip itself, chipset wise u can know how gud it is by d oc on dually. 450htt on 5k b.e was done by polygon (biostar 790gx), one of d taiwan guy did even higher iirc > 500htt. it's rather pointless nowadays to achieve high htt just for d no. sake, i will take a mixture for high clock + high ram frequency at anytime. hmm.. i write FSB bcoz worry bro sadako-chan dun understsand, b4 this i write HTT he seem thk to HTlink, thats y i write FSB with (HTT) This post has been edited by cdlim87: Dec 18 2008, 02:52 PM |
