The temp eh?? I didnt take any screenshot of it ler, i totally forgot
I'll try redo it again later with the temp shots also..
But i remember that at load it didn't go up more than around 62c, idle around 39c~40c..

Yup i'm still using the older bios released on september 2008.. U tried using lower vcore with X2 or phenom?? Hmmm kinda afraid to test the new bios coz the international web hasn't released it yet..

Nice vcore ah... My 9850 cannot even run 3ghz properly at that vcore.. It needs a little bit more..
To go up to 3150mhz it alredy need around 1.375~1.38v...

Miahahahaha, no ler just wish to promote greener o/c in less volt usage
Anyway i already updated my bios with the one u gave at the link, it doesn't really reduce my vcore usage but..
After flashing i was able to use CnQ with my o/c properly.. B4 this i donno why it always went haywire when i turn on CnQ..

Hmmmmm haven't tried that game yet, been bz with CnC RA3..
Quite happy to be using a quad core ah coz last night i tried playing RA3 while BT'ing n it worked wonderfully..
There's no lag or any much performance hits.. Mind u i was playing at 1920x1080 reso..

Yup same with me, not rich here too, just coincidentally got me extra bonus from work for raya soooo end up splurging almost 2/3 of it on upgrades

Looking at the timeline, it would quite sometime before AMD moving to DDR3, probably during Q3 of 2009..
If there's no prob arises, the deneb's that would be launching on Jan 2009 if i'm not mistaken would be entirely AM2+ parts but with the caveat of being able to use on AM3 mobo's when they are readily available..
This is a good path for AMD to take if it's true coz for me atleast in the event of future upgrading i could just buy a AM2+ Deneb and use on my current mobo then maybe when the price of DDR3 and AM3 mobo dropped i would be able upgrade to them later on..

Hmmmmm from business stand of view ie usage in enterprises this move is quite good.. Low cost upgradibility..
But for o/c users like us it would be quite a pain or headache..
What i could think of is that maybe the integrated mem controller for the DDR3 could probably just a basic mem controller, ie support for single speed ddr3 or not so tweakable mem setting etc..
Well there's always a catch ain't it..
Just my 2 cents ah..
