My Bugsy not scare of me that much just she dun like being pick up...Then Bubble always hide in the box....only food make it come out...tis Fri might bring them to vet to check the sex and check the health condition...I realise that both of my GPs getting chubby now...hahahaa at least i know I feed the right food...

i want to setup my new cage but need some advice from all of you
what the best material to put for the base?before i use the wood base bedding.
can i use towel or anything else??
Pandan leaf?you mean we can plant this pandan tree in the cage or just the leaf??
i'm still new in handling GP, hope you all can help

hehe okies thxs btw if im not mistaken we cant just straight away change their food rite? we need to slowly mix it with the old food till they are used to it then only fully change it to the new 1 rite?

i bought this from pets safari, and i wonder which 1 will be better for gp if compare with hagen pellets

i have read the 1st page quite a bit but not seemed to pick up much differences in terms of caring a rabbit vs a guinea pig......... for example, both physically look diff of coz, but other than dat, nails gotta b clipped, gotta groom them, feed them pellets n hay, herbivous n give them vit c....

can any experienced owner here shed some light?

Hi All, I feed my GPs with this brand since day 1 until now. Recently they changed the packing in2 a blk box. Well, price was increased (fr 21+ --> 25+) & net weight (fr 850g --> 800g??) as well
I still got mine lastime, now a bit pricey 4 tis brand 

Bt it was a quality food, u cn smell the herb by urself when open it. Every morning, i open the food container, they wil wheek out loud & cnt wait 2 rush out fr cage... stuck their little head in2 the container & start eating
Abt hagen pellet, it was a staple food 4 gp rite? coz it ez 2 find, feed, cn chew properly coz it bigger size.
Price oso damn reasonable  I feed them as their dinner or I was away for long time.

Nv feed them with those hamster like food, inside all low quality seed, grains... I got brought a small pack 4 my hamster lastime. Guess wat, my hammies dun even like it at all. Bt since brought it cnt b wasted, so I mixed with other brands 

Animal was smart, they can tell u which which was gd or not.
Fresh vege cn b feed daily bt small portion was enuf aledi. They Superb love it!!! 1 minutes cn finished all~ 

GPs, know how to choose they fave food...watever they like they hamtam all those left out are their enemy food...hahahaha

since u guys been talking bout hagen pellets, i wanna ask something.

i'm using hagen pellets too for my GP. she was eating it alot. but since i've been handfeeding her carrots and fresh veggies, now i seldom see her jump into feeding bowl and eat the pellets. only when i put the fresh pellets, she will eat. not the old one. haih. should the pellet served fresh daily? how about the leftovers? should i throw out? :-s aiyo so rugi.

and one more thing. i'm using sun dried alfalfa for my GP. this is the same scenario also. she only eats the fresh one out of the plastic bag. and left those big big "dahan" of alfalfa behind. GP dont eat those big dried alfalfa dahan? only the small dried leafs (and the small dahan)?

i take it out from cage and put on my tummy every night XD, she keep kacau me when i m paying attention on tv program or other things, keep bite my clothes and "push" my hand =_= jealousy pet omg

yesterday when i cleaning my gp's tray, i notice there is these poop all not in shape...means like almost in powdery kind but not totally powdery and the colour is abit shiny...i forgot to take the picture...this is not diarrhea right?

the poo all drop to the tray one...so i really wonder how come all become small pieces....

haha....got the possibility but maybe just 2%-3%....lolx....

can we give cabbage to GP? i give a little bit to Cody last nite...
but still he likes carrot the most...finish the carrot then only slowly ate the cabbage...

I realise that when we intro new vege to them we need to hand feed them or else they wont touch only smell smell and them jump away from it...I think my GPs very happy when see me talking on the phone...whenever I talk on the phone and standing near the cage both will run towards me and sit there look up to me like asking me "why so much to talk one?"

I know what is the thing inside the tray already!!! My GP bite the floor mat and my floor mat is dark blue in colour...that's why i thought those were my GP's poo....gosh....

Today just bath my GPs.  Trimmed their nails and teeth.

I think my female Peruvian is possibly pregnant.    Hopefully this time is true...it is so difficult to get my Peruvian babies, no wonder in the market is so few.  Here is her picture, now her fur quite long already.  The male is also same color marking like her.  Oooo....Keeping my figure cross, hopefully I could succeed in breeding my Peruvian.
