Can i noe bout pituitary gland....???..as far as i noe pituitary gland is divided into 2 parts..the upper part i called anterior n the down part is known as posterior...the anterior part secretes 6 hormones which is d FSH,TSH,LH,ADCH,GH,and prolactin......d posterior secretes 2 hormones which is the ADH and oxytoxin...mean while the function of FSH is to stimulate only 1 follicle in the ovary,TSH stimulates thyroid gland to produce thyroxine,LH is to stimulate ovulation,ADCH is to alerts body when body encounters any emergency situations,GH stimulates growth and prolactin stimulates the mammary gland to produce more body milk,ADH and oxytoxin i dont know wat is its function....please do correct me and do add additional infos....gracias....(if can i also need the function of ADH and oxytoxin.).

If not mistaken oxytoxin is use to produce breast milk rite??

A rubber ball is released from a height of 180 cm above the surface of the floor. The ball bounce back 4/5 of its previous height each time. Find the total distance travelled by the ball before it stops

and also..in the chap 3 ( intergration), the volume part how to do de? why sometimes need to use the area of triangle minus the definite intergrals?
*
No idea on "before it stops", maybe 0.01, 0.001mm?
I will try stop.

0 = arn-1
0 = 180(4/5)n-1

I'll be using try and error because lg 0 is undefined.
Using calculator, I obtained that n is 1023.

Totaldistance
= 1023/2 [2(180) + 1022(4/5)]
= 602342.4cm

I'm not sure, and in a rush.
Do post the answer next time.

Integration part,
It all depends on the shaded region.
The most important thing you have to know is that,
when you integrate an equation, you'll be able to find the area under the graph <depending on your range>.
Hard to explain since I don't have time.

ADH - Antidiuretic Hormone, stimulates the permeability of water in the nephrons. Also stimulates the reabsorption of water by the renal tubules in the kidneys.

Oxytoxin - Stimulates the contraction of uterine muscles during childbirth, and promote the release of milk from mammary glands. Also causes the ejection of sperms in males

hot chocolote your answer is wrong because your working contradicts. Your tn formula is for geometric progression while your sn formula is for arithmetic progression.

I did total wrongly in AP, not GP.
Even then, I can only get 900cm.

Using your answer, I still can't find the number of bounces the ball had.
I doubt that's the answer.

1620 = [180(1-(4/5)n] / [1-(4/5)]
1.8 = 1 - (4/5)n
0.8 = - (4/5)n
(4/5) = -(4/5)n
.....??????

I don't know what's next.

I think I know why. The total distance. When you use the formula, you are only calculating it when it moves downwards and not upwards
(900-180)x2+180 gives you your answer. I think this should be the reason.

Yeah the answer is 1620

Sum to infinity is 900, however the question wants total distance travelled

The ball goes up and down for each term, 900 x 2 = 1800

1800 - 180 (the ball does not go back to the starting point) = 1620

PS: KhorJyang here, accidentally used bro's acc!

Yes that could be the only explaination. We tend to forget that, that is the distance travelled downwards whilst the object tend to move upwards at the same time. This concept is heavily used in physics when calculating the time of an object going against the speed of sound where sound is reflected as it comes and goes, this has to be divide by 2. In this case it is times 2. Moreover, 1800 - 180 because it does not go back to the initial point.

Tricky question.

Every year changes. SPM marking range is not the same at every year. Target for 80 and above.
