ya..then BaCO3 can react with what to produce an insoluble salt?
*
BaCO3 is already an insoluble salt

BaCO3 is already insoluble. Why you wanna add stuff to make it insoluble?
*
sorry..is become soluble salt

the answer is what ?
from what I understand, that question is asking which one can dissolve BaCO3

As I remember, only acid is able to remove carbonate salts.

but u see this..BaCO3 + H2SO4 --> BaSO4 + CO2 + H2O.....

BaSO4 is insoluble salt wor

Add sodium chloride which will cause a displacement reaction.
BaCO3+2NaCl-->BaCl2+Na2CO3

that's why I said, the question is asking you about which one can dissolve BaCO3 and it doesn't necessary the product be in soluble state.
my opinion lah

BaCO3+2NaCl-->BaCl2+Na2CO3

so u would say D because the product formed is soluble?

Displacement ? I think that happens only when add in reactive metal to a solution.
--
Your equation is more to double decomposition and it only happens between two soluble salts

Depends on what kind of acid.In HCl and HNO3 yes, cause it will cause a displacement reaction but not in H2SO4

Its not really double decomposition since both of the salts produced are soluble.

From what i noe displacement must add in a more electropositive metal..
Like a zinc metal..It cant be in solution..

Ok, don't know what the reaction for that is called, but it will react.
