In salt there is an experiment 7 experiment..
Use 2 soluble salt mix them together..
For example lead(II) nitrate and pottasium chromate(IV)..Both are same molarity...
All the 7 test tube is filled with same amount of pottasium chromate(IV)...
After that the 1st test tube add in 1cm of lead(II) nitrate,  2nd 2cm and so on..
Precipitate will formed..At one of the test tube the precipitate will start to be constant, just assume is 5th test tube..
In 5th test tube the both solution is completely reacted...
This experiment is used to construct the balanced ionic equation
It's called double decomposition.

here's a chem ques..Reaction between barium chloride soution and potasium carbonate solution produced an insoluble salt. The salt produced can be dissolaved by adding?
A. Mmmonia hydroxide solution
B. Sodium chloride solution
C. Ammonia aqueous
D. sulphuric acid

how wor?

Should be B since the barium carbonate will react to produce barium chloride which is solubl

It is mentioned. It says that an insoluble salt it produced.

That salt produced is referred to BaCO3, right ?

Yes, dissolve means forming a soluble salt i.e. a solution.

Ya the reaction is double decomposition reaction..
But the experiment is called continous variation

BaCO3 is already insoluble. Why you wanna add stuff to make it insoluble?
