I love heels! I don't think I can do without them. Only recently has my boyfriend convinced me to buy a pair of flipflops for more casual wear ^^;; Says he likes putting his chin on my head apparently XD Feel so short...

Anyways, I wear 3inch heels everyday to work. My secret is to choose strappy or open toe shoes. Let those babies breathe o.o-b Also, you will want to keep your toenails nice and short. Trim them well because they do cause pain when pushed up against the insides of your heels what with your whole body weight sliding forward.
When starting out in high heels, choose a pair where the heel is chunkier. Don't go for stilettos just yet. When you can balance in those you can slowly make them skinnier. Just remember, the wider the base the better the balance. Wedges are good but I feel that they don't have as much flexibility when walking so sometimes I end up stomping in them.
Another secret: I'm constantly on my feet in the office walking around alot but when i get a chance to sit at my desk, OFF comes the shoes! XD Yup, just take them off and flex them on the carpet. Bend your toes backwards and forwards and try to spread your toes on the flat floor. Put them back on only when you are leaving the desk again ^^

I hope this helps a little ^^

i think it's best to wear for certain occasions only, don't wear to walk like, shop, or to walk. if you need to walk, wear walking shoes! or else...

i think in victoria case it was because she's too skinny in the first place..

there's actually a difference between expensive shoes and not.

anne klein, although price here is rm500 ish, the iflex, supposedly for comfortable wear is still isn't that comfortable.same with steve madden, same with aigner.[ both available at isetan, and i wouldn't recommend it even with the price]

but the most expensive shoes i ever tried on, while i was shopping at 5th avenue, and 300 dollars shoes is heaven compare to less than 100 which steve madden, and anne klein are.

can't imagine how louboutin or manolos would feel.

yup. walking - get a proper shoe, minimal heels. smile.gif one that's comfortable.

i think heels are necessary for appearance but if you spend most of the time in office, keep a pair of comfortable walking shoes to go around the office. some ladies do that, especially those working in Admin / HR where they don't go out and meet people like Sales & Marketing.

That is what we call a Bunion. What is a bunion?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunion

From the article, These factors are often considered genetic. Although some experts are convinced that poor fitting footwear is the main cause of bunion formation,[2] other sources concede only that footwear exacerbates the problem caused by the original genetic deformity.[3]

I actually dislike women wearing heels due to several reasons:

1) Restrictive footwear
2) Dangerous (balance and drain grates)
3) In event of emergency, it's a hindrance to run (fire, quake)
4) Backache
5) Deformed toes

How about wearing the heels only when you wish to achieve a specific goal for the viewer only :?
