I know ToDai offers graduate degree classes in English |

There is a thriving Malaysian expat community working in Japan, mostly in the Kantou area. Those guys work loooong hours as far as I can tell. |

QUOTE(CherryD @ Nov 5 2008, 12:41 AM) Anyone here studied or studying in overseas now such as America, Australia, UK,Canada or anywhere around the globe? I am studying BSc Maths with Physics at University of Southampton at Southampton, England. Before that, I done a foundation at Cambridge Regional College at Cambridge, England.Mind sharing your experience with us? as in how are the people over there? their lifestyle? how are they treating you? are there any racists? do you have alot of friends? are most of your friends your race(chinese, malays, indians) instead of white people and black people? are you happy with your decision to study overseas? do you regret for not staying back in Malaysia to continue your studies? do you get homesick every now and then? what's the difference between studying in overseas and studying locally? List out what course, what college, which state, which country that your studying or had studied in and share your experience with everyone. Come on everyone share your experience! During the time, I learned so much about the way of society works, government's policy, philosophy of life, etc. I try to not exaggerate too much but I seriously feel I learned more than my 5 years of secondary school. The reason I could think of is because when we experience different culture, it allows us to compare the both. It really opens up our prospective. Racists do exists, but it has no way to avoid it unless we people mix enough to have same skins. Academic-wise, I think local education is more intense (ie chemical eng need to learn programming language, islamic, moral, etc). The UK study is less intense, however it is not in my case due to the nature of my degree. After all, students life are mean to be happiest or at least should be happiest. Make sure your study life is a memorable one. |

I study at the Aston Business School, I read their programme on accessmasterstour before applying. Ten of Aston Business School’s courses have been ranked in the top 100 in the UK and Western Europe in the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2017. I am interested in MSc Human Resource Management & Business. The course is distinctive in grounding the study of HRM within the broader discipline of management, with an emphasis on change management and strategy.

MOst of my friends studying overseas told me that they usually still stick with malaysians. They feel that there's a barrier for making close friends with the locals there. However some of my friends who are the only few malaysians in campus do manage to mix closely with local groups.

This is very true, but my experience with malaysians studying in the UK tend to not mix because they prefer sticking with Malaysian not the other way round. I suppose they are more comfortable with Malaysian/Singaporean that they “forgot” to make an effort to mix with locals. My friend from uk told me that they felt difficult talking to foreigners because they like to stick among themselves and make little effort to mix with others |
