im using the official one

Try the manual Hard Reset. There are two ways to do it:

1. Press reset pin button ONCE (do not hold)
2. Once you see the Samsung Omnia appears on the screen, immediately press the SEND and END key simultaneously
3. Then the screen appears asking you whether you are sure to format
4. Press SEND to format or END to cancel

OR

1. Turn off the Omnia completely (do this by pressing and holding the power button and wait for the prompt).
2. Press and hold these three buttons–volume down, Call and power–till the LED (this is beside the front camera) flashes.
3. Release the buttons. That same LED should flash blue/red/green and power up.

Hopefully your device can be Hard Reset. Best of Luck!

how come i didnt store much things into my omnia.. but the phone always writes storage is full

Added on January 30, 2009, 10:25 amwanna ask if there any solutions for this ??

By default many programs will use device storage for storing their files, eg. camera pictures, ringtones etc etc. When the device storage is almost full, less than 10MB, the device will be prone to hang. One way to avoid this is to manage your device storage. You can use SKTools a third party program, to move the location of these folders from Device Storage to My Storage or Storage Card.

for me Samsung one is the best keyboard for Omnia..
i tried many keyboard b4;

SPB Mobile Shell - portrait keyboard not big enough..but many people vote for this
Vito Zoomboard - portrait keyboard not big enough
PocketCM keyboard - dunno why i can't change to big mode..
resco keyboard - nice keyboard (iphone style) but sometimes not so responsive
HTC Diamond keyboard - better than Samsung..faster in typing and quite accurate..but have problem on uninstallation..need to hard reset..
TouchPal - i think my installer got problem..always error during installation..smile.gif

I concur with your findings. Samsung can do landscape not Touchpal.

You are the last person I expect to encounter such problem after being so conscientious in reminding all us to be cautious when flashing our ROM. Samsung should reflash your Omnia for free. I know of someone bricking a LG KS20 when flashing a cooked ROM and yet LG service center repaired it for free. After all, why should we pay a higher price for an Malaysian set when we could easily buy an AP set from Spore for 30% less, unless we can get FULL service from the local distributor? We must insist they repair it for free even though we are flashing cooked ROM.

OR use SKTools to move your folders from My Device to My Storage thus freeing up your Storage

WM 6.1 OBEX file transfer is buggy. You need a third party program to solve this problem.

Are you using imarche skins? Is there a way to put weather icon near the clock?
I saw some has those but it's a different skin altogether.

I am using imarche skin for my Omnia and Leopard Graphite skin for my LG KS20. Leopard Graphite has a small weather icon on the now screen.

Can be done, but very tedious. Need to amend main.xml or lockscreen.xml at qa_layout.dat. The last time I did a mod it took me almost a week to get it right. Not very experienced. Once done, you have to put the modified files in the right imarche folder to enable you to call it when needed.
