when i-7 start selling and
X58 mobo start selling will 775socket and X48 P45 those mobo and prosecer drop price ?
will it much or just bit drop a bit only ?
help QX9770 or QX9650 T.T, choose and tell me what the reason pls .

QX gets replaced by i7 immediately...
followed by Q and E in mid 09, that's when Lynnfield (mainstream quad core) and Havendale (value dual core) of Nehalem comes out... |

i-7 already release no need wait. a slowest i-7 920 already par with QX9770 and i-7 930 already faster than QX9770.
Mobo X58 now only Intel Company got so no other choice yet Ram need using DDR3 for it since TS you QX aslo can buy so DDR3 aiyoo.....easy easy lar |

problem is Core and Nehalem architecture are pretty different... Core is still based on quad-pumped FSB while Nehalem is based on QPI... both work differently and will oc differently as well...

What you learn from E8400 / QX will not help you on OC I-7...So you need buy I-7 for learning it
