I doubt you could clock sucker than E8600 retail.
are you serious to getting them ? or just ask for fun. QX9770 or QX9650 more or less are same. just QX9770 base is 1600fsb |

QUOTE(coolman91 @ Nov 4 2008, 01:22 AM) if i play overclock will QX9770 perform better then QX9650 ? More or less the same.. QUOTE(coolman91 @ Nov 4 2008, 01:22 AM) or i just save some money and take QX9650 and overclock it as same as QX9770 ? This is better, since the QX9650 has a higher multi at default. Can hit 3.2GHz easy (8.0 x 400MHz). Maybe you should try the Overclocking section... moving this thread there. |

if u really have tight budget, then u dun have to consider both..
if u r not overclocking, either one also is a waste of money.. Unless u really need as higher as u can for the default clockspeed. QX9650 and QX9770 can have same oc limits with ordinary cooling (eg. air cooling, water cooling) while with extreme cooling QX9770 might* have lil advantage in final clockspeed. for mild ocing, getting a retail Q9550 is a better choice. but if the only option is between these 2 procs, then just go for the highest end.. What is the price difference between both of them?
Why would an QX make you and leet overclocker? or overclock better then a retail Q9450 or Q9550? Answer the above and you shall be given an answer |
