Rapidshare today superslow, are you guys experiencing this, or is it just me?

Premium Account Holder, but I am getting less than 10 kilobyte of download speed right now, no matter which server I use.

So as long as I dont download at the same time from 2 IPs its okay?

It's all superslow because of the European faulty lines. TM already made public this announcement on TV3 yesterday. I just stop my downloads until this is resolved.

How do you guys detect if the RS link from a forum is phisher link? any tips?

if you setup your email account properly, you won't have problems with security lock.

I am using this feature and think this is very good feature. This actually protects real owners when their account is stolen. The email address cannot be changed without unlocking. If real owner discover his/her account being stolen, just request password reset and it will be emailed to his email account.

Thus protecting the real owner. Only people who steal other's account would find this not userful.

First, if you highlight the link before you click on it, be sure that it's from rapidshare and not a redirection. It's obvious that most "links" that are masked and are protected are mostly phishing links. Another thing is that rapidshare site has the security lock on the bottom right of your browser to show that it's secure. So if you dun see it, it's something fishy.

But the easiest way is to download the files through download managers. It's definitely difficult to phish through download managers. Hope this helps.

same goes with me...experiencing super slow download speed...less than 10kb....=(....Dunno whether is Streamyx Problem or Rapidshare???

hurm im using premium acc, my download speed maintains like previous days, no problem at all.

bout phising problem maybe just let download manager handles it, internet download manager (idm) is the best i think.

actually its the cables fault. am i rite?

Its not TMnet job to fix the cable, so I think we shouldn't blame them.
