There may be a workaround way to "downgrade" to V20 but I need someone with V20.x firmware to PM me. Take note it may need a lot of time and effort from the person, at least a few hours of commitment. Things you need:
1) PC/Laptop
2) N82 USB cable
3) micro-SDHC USB card reader / converter
4) Time
5) small risk to brick it...
6) *cough* *cough* your N82
7) Of course, your N82 + micro-SDHC card (2GB with at least 200MB free space)

For the *cough* *cough*, below are the summary of my research for those with V30 firmware.

N95-1, N95 8GB = all can *cough*

Various success with N96, N81

N82 = None at all

N85 = None also, as still not widely used.

And I have tried nearly all BiNPDA, Sign 100%, HelloCarbide, ROMPatcher, installserver, Caps On/Off, FCA00000 stuff, signsis, symbiansigned, Drakkarious, python, etc.


Edit: Do not try to downgrade using JAF, NSS, etc. Confirm will brick your N82.

hey ~ need some help here ~ now when i plug in the usb cable to my phone , no matter i choose pc suit or Data transfer , when i click on my computer , it just shows the Memory Card , dont show my phone memory . help me please ?? i've format my phone for a few times , but still the same . what is this problem ?

By right, when you choose PC Suit, it should have populate Phone Memory and Memory Card. Why not try restart your PC or reinstall the PC Suit to the latest version? It might help. I had no problems viewing my Phone Memory once I connected USB to my PC using PC Suit.

hey...sorry if ask noob question... just wonder, i got my n82 milky white and the battery can use for max 2 days only, how about you guys ? is it normally n82 battery only can last long for maximum 2 days only ? (normal use) ... thank you so much...

hmm max 2 days ar , mine can use more then 2 days if i dont listen to musics . mybe 1 week also can if use it for normal . haha havent try , because always listen to music ^^ .

erm.. mine one very rare make calls(around 5 calls.. less than 5minutes total.. listen to some music(around 10 minutes).. see some slide show(around 5minutes).. take some pics(about 5-10).. until now.. my battery still full.. last full-charged was yesterday morning..
