QUOTE(emino @ Aug 7 2010, 02:56 PM) The specs are indeed almost all the same. Therefore people always compare: The battery life. The ram upgrade: possible/not possible/ddr2/ddr3 Value added: some offer free online storage, some offer extra warranties, some comes with recovery partition, some bundled it with free ext dvd (fujitsu) any particular model that u can recommend?

QUOTE(ic-klass @ Aug 7 2010, 06:06 PM) any particular model that u can recommend? The model I posted earlier seems nice... Baiscally just go check it out and decide. I think in the end it all comes down to the design. This post has been edited by emino: Aug 7 2010, 06:31 PM

The only bummer is that the DDR3 ram is upgradeable to 2GB, but not compatible with most brands on the market. You need to contact Asus and ask. Maybe they do sell it. Although, it runs quite decent for 1GB ram.

If upgrade to 2GB can cause unstable to the netbook.. how true is it? Can anyone who bought this model with RAM upgrade share yours experience. Thanks Added on August 10, 2010, 8:45 amQUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Aug 10 2010, 12:30 AM) I think it's a 1018P... my prayers have been answered, does anyone know when this might be released in Australia? I have been looking around for some time for this and I haven't found it yet . Anyone travelling over to Australia from Malaysia in the next couple of days and willing to take a gamble on a nice Aussie bloke?
