Do u mean 1201T? I think performance wise it outshines most other netbooks but bat life is not gonna be good since it's AmD..

yea.. I think 1018P is expensive because of it's fingerprint scanner and slim/macbook-ish design

oops 1018p is actually around 1.6k only my mistake, got forumer selling that price... retail price is rm1699.... 1016p around 1239 like that and retail was rm1299... well rm360 difference for slightly better processor, fingerprint, usb3.0 and better/sleeker design... i guess it would still appeal to some ppl..

the old 1215B is same specs as 1015B except ram, won't have much difference I guess?
Wait for the new 1215B with E-450, it's much better than C-50...

Anyways, I am a 1015B user here as well haha.. So far no problems... Can't seem to install microsoft office though, sifu lee any advice? I uninstall the pre-office using some microsoft fixit uninstaller.. Supposedly there shouldn't be any traces of the old office left but I still not able to install it..

2010, i am using ehem version installer though.. but that's not the problem though since I downloaded 2 diff ones also can't install... hmm what kind of add ons are there? I am sure i deleted everything microsoft office related though

yup there're 2 versions in Malaysia the Meego one for rm699 which the other one with w7starter for rm799...

it's quite light but the white colour feels really plasticky and for rm799 u might as well get 1015B

urgh deleted the error file in safe mode then still cannot install ><... I am gonna fresh install W7 or smth soon I guess...

what kind of problem are you talking about?

I am using a 1015B which is similar and both keyboard n touchpad works just fine...

Nope, don't think you need to do so with lithium ion batteries, you can use and charge them at the same time if you want..

the color is really bad and washed out, use the AMD catalyst centre to lower the gamma a bit should be better..

u can use USB pendrive to install Windows 7 on it... Clean install will speed up the laptop definitely since no more bloatwares.. If you worry about performance drop, you can always tweak some of the visuals/shadows..
