Welcome to the club... Hope you enjoy your S530d

To tommysasuke,
I will recommend S330, Sounds perfect for vocal, intrumental sound... S330 bass is solid and the satelite is very special.. different tweeter and mid..

so it is worth to upgrade to r1900t3 from m3300 right...
how about if compare r1900t3 to s330 anyone??
really wanna know how big the different
recently got no time to go for audition shakehead.gif

m3300 is not bad in term of clarity, but i think the soundstage cant fulfill my ears...
and the sound is a bit too "thin"
i want a richer and thicker sound... brows.gif

depend ur own taste lo,if u like to have some bass when it is necessary, choose a speaker tat has subwoofer,u can try S330.the tweeter of S330 perform very good treble and good bass.It uses The wave ripples silk tweeter can effectively reduce the high-speed diaphragm distortion caused by vibration, produce some unique treble compare to dome tweeter.M3300 is good at budget around RM230,if u have the budget,S330 is more recomended at RM400+-. biggrin.gif

Clearly it was psychological effect as you said, Now the strong bass is slowly coming song by song. wtf. ANother good news is i only need to set the treble level at +2 to get the same treble sound as before. I'm worry too much because i love this baby so much. haha. Thanks anyway. But can't happy too much, need to try again tommorow.

QUOTE(bmipp @ Nov 16 2008, 11:18 AM)
errr..then what's the difference as one can save a lot by buying S330 woh?
what sound card you are pairing with?
*
They still have the different one,S530D have more powerful spec, such as high power rating and 8 inch woofer,3.5inch mid range driver, wireless remote, and multi function wired remote.

After the release of S330,the other newer S series speaker from Edifier is actually sounds a bit AV-oriented, especially the high-end S2.1MKII and S5.1MKII, these speaker tends to produce sounds that are very ''western style'' with very sharp cold, very deep low frequency sounds for games or DVD playback ,but for music enjoy these speaker may too 'strong' for some ppl. They are indeed a very good product.

But for those who like to listen music,S330 is more recomended,of course the reason is its price and performance ratio for music.

mind share your opinion on M3300 and C2? well wish to get a speaker below 300 at this caming pc fair on December. laugh.gif
*
C2 is currently replaced by HCS 2330 which is the improved version of C2,they sharing same appearance.I recomend u get HCS 2330,M3300 is good at clarity of satelites but the bass is not so good if compare to 2330.U may try both of them b4 buy to see which model u prefer more biggrin.gif

It's ok already, the bass is back to normal, the treble is back to normal. Before this both of them was like C3 standard. What is the relativity? Corrupted sound card driver made the sound not good?
*
sound card driver very important oso,my laptop build in sound card sounds very good with the newest driver in vista, but in xp ,it sounds not so good for me,duno is becoz xp driver too old or wat laugh.gif
