Any user reviews for Edifier Hcs2330 ?

May I know how does it perform (for movie and music) as compared to Edifier M3300?

Not much can be found from google... icon_question.gif

so i guess the s330 is going to shake up things even more. aww man... that's why i hate living in a college... hmm, guess i'll audition the speakers first. i've been wanting the s330 for too long already, must have it somehow! tongue.gif thanks for the feedback! notworthy.gif

This is why I use a Denn 2.1 speaker set on campus-- smaller and less powerful, while the C3 stays at home. tongue.gif Those 'Buatan Malaysia' speakers are really loud, quite clear, not bad treble and have strong bass already (actually pretty good sound for RM60, don't regret buying at all), and my campus dorm is even smaller than my bedroom, so I don't dare put anything like a C3 in there.

i guess "subs" and "neighbours" dont go well with each other... but i dont think my playlist from the 80s would have that much bass to annoy my roommates... tongue.gif

Depends what songs from the 80s you're playing. I have a lot of classic rock on my playlists, and the bass is thumping! Also, if your roomie doesn't share your taste in music, well, expect requests to keep things down.

hmm, bee gees doesnt have that much bass... tongue.gif so i guess it wont be much of a problem.. worst case scenario is that they're going to be poisoned by the s330, and everyone will start buying one... (scholarship just got in a few weeks ago) tongue.gif

Added on December 28, 2009, 11:48 amis it considered an upgrade if i used to have an edifier r1900t3, and now i wanna buy the s330? i love the r1900t3 (ballads sound so beautiful with this baby), but it's just too big and my room is pretty small. cannot even put on my table. that's why now planning to get the s330... biggrin.gif Mr Edifier, can i buy it directly from Inter-asia in kepong? hmm.gif

LOL, another Bee Gees fan! Myself, I haven't had any complaints, but mostly because my playlist currently has a lot of New Age, post rock (Sigur Ros and Amiina) and classical/Renaissance polyphony and choral stuff on it for studying. Not much bass there either.

so i guess the bass issue wont be a problem after all... biggrin.gif anyway, could anyone confirm the availability of Edifier S330 at LYP? i've been looking for it in the price list, but none of the shops have em in the pricelist. so i wonder if it's going to be extinct like the klipsch promedia gmx... let's hope not... sweat.gif

Hi,

i am from germany and this is my Edifier S530 Review:

http://www.tech-review.de/include.php?path...tid=8519&page=1

I know u dont understand our language but the S530 is really good for this low price.

Soon i test the S550 and i think its a good 5.1 soundsystem. So, you guys got a S550 with digital a digital input? In germany we have only a S550 with normal Cinch input.

hey guys! i'm planning to buy the edifier S550! woohoo! lol havent seen the real set yet but then youtube videos have convinced to buy one LOL
so just wondering.. coz i've been reading on these stuff lately.. so from my understanding that music is 2.1? so an addition of a soundcard would be able to upscale music to 5.1 and give me the surround sound effect?
also plz recommend me a soundcard to go with that speaker =) also state the pros and cons, as to why i should or not go for certain cards
enlighten me with ur knowledge plz tongue.gif
All suggestions and opinions are welcome smile.gif

is it worth going for cards like auzentech forte 7.1?
apparently creative cards have bad vista drivers? and xonar seems to not have dolby and stuff? is dolby even that important? lol

@88fly88-- It depends on whether you have surround sound speakers in the first place I think. If you don't what's the point? Anyway I hear Dolby and THX are $$ spinning gambits....

That white Edifier looks really pretty! drool.gif Too bad either way I can't afford S530D. cry.gif

I've just tried Google's translations with German to English...waaay better than the Babelfish, apparently. Thanks for the tip, now I don't have to go and guess at the translations on my own with a German dictionary. XD Off to test Google Translate with those undecipherable Russian BT sites that want you to register with them first before they let you in on the good stuff. whistling.gif
