no, some phones are not support edge eventho its support 3g

FYI digi edge coverage is quite good in klang valley..i dunno bout 'kedah'
*
in my opinion i wont buy a phone that is focused only on edge. i go everywhere including overseas so i need a phone that supports gsm and gprs and 3g which is supported in most asian countries.

if you only stay in 'klang valley' i donno la. maybe u really want edge. btw, i need good coverage everywhere and not just in KL. so celcom is the way to go. trust me, i've been north and south and i need a reliable coverage and a phone that supports what i need.

interested in this phone but the sad choices of color...
for the email features and interface...is it similar to the E71? Can't see much difference in the features.

and GSMarena says e63 dun have 5 way scroll? What does that mean?

the colour of e63 is a bit dull because it's plastic. e71 on the other hand has a very nice colour and metallic body.

how much are u willing to spend on an E series phone?

how much I'm willing to spend is dependent on the phone. I've tried PDA phones and honestly they suck coz there are a lot of settings to be done before you can even check your email. Iphone also tested...best in the market but its too expensive for me. E series gives the best of both worlds but at a low cost. My only other worry is getting the blood free wifi outside when I really need.

I only don't like the camera on this phone, which without the AF is worse than my 3 year old phone...and the color. That's about it. Still thinking if I should add the 400 bucks for GPS on the E71.

Added on March 31, 2009, 4:30 pmbtw, I'm looking at the Nokia website...and it mentions that one of the applications is the Nokia Maps. This map feature is just the map without the GPS rite?

guys..i've just bought this phone 4 days ago..
i'm like so in love with it..
i'm always a nokia guy, so this is just the right phone for me as my budget is just below 1k...it is the cheapest one among other nokias that has wifi..camera-wise, it might not be awesome..but its fine for me..
E series calendar feature is great too..i need them as an organizer...

but, i'm having one problem..
it hangs at times..when i press the menu (left button), it will just hang..in such a way that it will not enter the menu..But those shortcuts (small buttons on the main screen) in the main menu are still accessible...
so, i need to restart my phone (off it and on it back) to make it back to normal.. *its iritating when it hangs..sigh*

any e63 user is having this problem too? how do u overcome it?..thanks a bunch!

other than that, it's a great phone for the budget!
cheers

i am really eager to get this phone... used to play around with an e61i but i it was a company phone so i had to return it. while the e61i was frustrating and cumbersome at times, i grew to really love the huge 2.8" screen as well as the super convenient qwerty keyboard, and typing on a normal keypad feels so uncomfortable for me now.

anyway i can c that the price of this phone fluctuates a lot, most of the shops at lowyat/sg wang r selling above RM1k, while the garage sales ones are about RM950. anyone can recommend a reliable shop that is selling this phone cheaper than RM950? thnx notworthy.gif

I agreed on you that the camera is very suck..but others are good! ONLY camera..

Honestly, I feel this phone is useless if you cannot access to internet anywhere anytime you want...
I was at your situation..whereby I need to search for Wifi station when I need internet which really makeing me exhauted and give up..so? I subscribe to unlimited plan Digi Data Plan, RM66 per month. Good? I cannot tell yet, but so far is ok..but i just wondering why it cant keep my msn messenger connected..not stable..but..when checking email..excellent.

Since like it getting more and more user here.

Btw why don't you guy share your battery life time?because i having the best battery life on this phone compare to others.

Usually i just have to charge it after 5 or 6 days, even the phone is already 2 month old.
