yup.. that is why they're no focusing on launching 7.2mbps yet.. celcom hsdpa (3.6mbps) usually can get average 700kbps to 1mbps only (in my experience), just few of my fren sometime got up to 2mbps..
*
I do get more than 1Mbps. The most is 2Mbps. That's all but consistently 700kbps and above if no network problem. smile.gif

yeah, i talk about consistently (average) speed.. coz i never see people are getting 2mbps at all time.. by the way, how much do u expect digi 3g package? rm50/month (basic package) perhaps?  hmm.gif ..
*
Yea, must be super competitive price. brows.gif

QUOTE(xcen @ Jan 18 2009, 12:41 AM)
All that I'm sure of is that DiGi will offer a very competitive price and package, forcing other companies to come out with better packages also, but still not as good as DiGi.  rclxms.gif
*
That's for sure, no other telco can beat DiGi in term of low value package. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(orenzai @ Jan 18 2009, 12:42 AM)
I went to digi site saw that they have this unassigned numbers punya sim card. but only agvailable in WM merchants. i wonder why arent people selling them online
*
It's called MNS - Mobile Number Selection
In fact only Klang Valley has this and not the whole WM. smile.gif

why cant is be sold by other people? i mean it would be much more convenient than whats happening now. like one shop gets a certain range of numbers.
*
Well, they don't want to make it so common perhaps?

i got a question here...
if i'm maxis user...can i mnp to digi postpaid suppline user?
*
Suppline user? unsure.gif
Of course you need a main line so that you can become the person's supp line. smile.gif

Anyway, you can easily port from Maxis to DiGi, provided you have no outstanding bill with your previous provider. smile.gif

Coverage is wise to me too. As long as you are not from any remote or isolated area, DiGi coverage shouldn't be a problem. smile.gif I even have no problem talking in evaluator, I couldn't do that when I was on Maxis. smile.gif

As for customer service, thumbs up to it. It has D' Chat, which I think is a good move as everything is linked to Internet nowadays. The customer careline is free of charge though, not like Hotlink which it charges its users with local call rate. Only postpaid users able to call for free. They even have separated no. for prepaid and postpaid. doh.gif

Nah, DiGi is not low class anymore. Maybe it sounded that few years back, but no longer now. With its continuous innovative yet interactive plans, I'm sure it will have high increment of users sign ups. smile.gif

Attractive phones for redemption. No it is still down, perhaps they couldn't get things done by 6am this morning.
*
Too bad, not everyone is eligible to redeem, need to request beforehand. smile.gif
It is OK already. smile.gif I can access. smile.gif

I still can't access it, maybe only certain accounts can access it at the moment. Really ? Don't really know about the redemption thing they have. So how are the points collected anyway ? hmm.gif
*
Last week I had such problem too, then tried on other Internet browser and it works. smile.gif
Every RM 1 you paid = 1 point smile.gif

I'll then have to wait 2 years before having enough points to participate in the redemption. laugh.gif
*
Be patient. Nevertheless, you can always redeem for bill rebate. smile.gif
That one not need to request and wait for them to pick you, anybody can choose to redeem that. smile.gif
I plan to redeem my points for bill rebate. wink.gif

I only have 7++ points now, how to redeem? laugh.gif
Plus, I'm not that lucky to be chosen by them. laugh.gif
I'll stick to bill rebate, it looks more realistic to me. laugh.gif

*
It gives free points to new applicants. smile.gif
I got 600 free points though. smile.gif

QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Jan 20 2009, 02:21 PM)
actually that promotion mean what ...
example i pay already 6000 point for the E66 did i have 100% can get the phone or selected one ?

and if i din get the phone the point will not be deducted or what ?
*
No, it will be chosen by DiGi randomly, so if you are lucky to be picked by them then you can redeem for the phone.

basSist just mentioned in the previous page, no, your points will not be deducted.
He repeated again up there.

hi fruitie, it's stated there in the page "Hurry and get your hands on them now before they're snapped up like hot cakes - this is a first-come-first-served promotion exclusively available only to our loyal DiGi Postpaid subscribers."

and in the FAQ

2.  How does the mechanic works in selecting the winners for this promo?
This promo is based on first come first served basis for those with sufficient Bonus Points to redeem the item.

so it's not randomly and it's 1st come 1st served.
*
Thanks for the explanation. I had such assumption because DiGi will actually release out the winner list once in a while, so I was thinking this was picked randomly by the system. smile.gif Guess, I had made a mistake. blush.gif

Hehe. Celcom offers free limited hours of video calls. tongue.gif
Who knows if DiGi offers unlimited free hours again? brows.gif

Is it ? So that means their calls, SMS and MMS are the only ones that will be unlimited right ? By the way, why does my phone not show DiGi Services feature, instead it shows MyPhonebook ? My supplementary line has DiGi Services. hmm.gif
*
No, those are still limited. Only DiGi offers free unlimited hours. smile.gif
I think depends on phone models? I'm on SE P1i, it doesn't show at all! laugh.gif

Even if I switched it to another phone, it still shows MyPhonebook. Although it isn't a big problem, I think the DiGi Services is more useful than MyPhonebook. sweat.gif
*
I also have MyPhonebook in my SE P1i. sweat.gif

Anyway it is only available at Klang Valley. MNS allows you to select your last preferred 3 or 4 digits. smile.gif
